Hebert19 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 This has never happened to my knowledge. Now we need to prove it this week. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32333691/nfl-power-rankings-week-5-1-32-poll-plus-biggest-surprise-every-team 4 1 5 3 Quote
galept Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) Don't mind the team receiving some attention but this is borderline worthless until we show that we can beat the Chiefs. Edited October 5, 2021 by galept 9 17 1 Quote
Virgil Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) Great, now we are definitely about to go on a losing streak Edited October 5, 2021 by Virgil 2 1 1 11 Quote
Stank_Nasty Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Chargers at 9 is absurd. They’ve got 2 big time wins and they’re only loss is a self inflicted one vs a 3-1 cowboys squad. 7 8 Quote

It’s decent to discuss and we all understand it’s not a “real” ranking. Edited October 5, 2021 by Stank_Nasty 4 2 1 Quote
teef Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 i just don't think buffalo has played anyone hardcore enough to be considered the best team at this time. that's not a knock as you can only play the teams on your schedule, but these next two games are big. that being said, even dropping these games wouldn't be the absolute end of the world. i assume it would definitely mean losing the one seed, but you never know. 3 5 Quote
quinnearlysghost88 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I’m a huge Bills fan and I’d still say we’re probably 4/5 in the league. 1 2 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Even against subpar competition, they’ve been that dominant. Now just have to prove it against our new nemesis this weekend. Quote

Greg S Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Long way to go obviously but IMHO the top dogs in the AFC are the Chiefs, Bills, Browns. Other teams will be in the mix like Ravens, Chargers, Raiders. The Broncos got exposed this past weekend as pretender. In the NFC basically its the Bucs, Rams, Cards as the top 3. Dallas is looking good but the division they play in is WOOF. The same could be said for the AFCE this year as well. The Packers and Seahawks should be in the mix. Should make for interesting races in both conferences. Quote
Mr. WEO Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 AZ is probably #1, beating handily 3 solid teams (including a beatdown of the Rams sunday). How are the Charges unchanged at 9?? Ravens, Chargers and Raiders better than the Browns right now. 1 2 Quote
First Round Bust Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) from playing against backup qbs the past three weeks to playing two teams in a row that whipped us x 3 last season...will the real Buffalo Bills please stand up... Edited October 5, 2021 by First Round Bust Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Can't remember ever being number one but I do recall being number 32 a few times 1 4 1 Quote

You mean we don’t automatically win the super bowl because of these rankings?! Thanks for letting us know. Quote
Jobot Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Pretty sure the reporters that come up with these meaningless ranks just look for ways to have as many teams as possible be #1 for a week. 1-KC 2-AZ 3-LA rams 4-Bills ^Realistic ranks Quote
nedboy7 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) I think the main takeaway is the fan base is not comfortable being #1 yet. Too much PTSD and self doubt. Edited October 5, 2021 by nedboy7 Quote
