Freddie's Dead Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Not afraid of either LV or LA. The Bills will crush either team.

I don’t see anyone trashing Herbert; quite the contrary. You’re the one BOASTING that he’s on another level compared to your QB. I guess you expect Bills fans to oblige your expertise (especially when we all know you’re not a huge fan of Allen).

billybob71 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 damn Herbert even does interviews better than Allen and has nicer hair 5
TheBrownBear Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Herbert is very Josh Allen-like, no doubt. Similar arms, but Herbert is more accurate. Josh carries more swag and is special as a runner in a way that Herbert lacks (though, he's no slouch either). I like our guy a little more based on intangibles and personality, but it's not as if a legitimate argument can't be made for taking Herbert.

Yes. Herbert was better as a rookie than Josh was as a rookie. But that's not the comparison that matters. It's about who is better right now. Even with all those stats you posted, Josh still had a better head to head year than Herbert last year. Higher completion %, more TDs, more yards, more 300+ yard games (9), higher QBR, more regular season wins and two playoff victories. 2

Okay Allen has led a Bills team that has scored north of 130 points, and Herbert has gotten his Chargers into the 90s, so Allen. Well that wasn't too hard.

Josh Allen is 1-0 vs Herbert head to head. Josh Allen has won more playoff games than Herbert. Josh Allen has won more regular season games than Herbert. Your Chargers need to make the playoffs.
billybob71 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 ok i am going to bed and thanx to TOF i am gonna dream of the happy day when the Bills trade Allen for Herbert 4
Boatdrinks Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Chargers look to be legit, and have a win over KC. Herbert is impressive, though I like Allen a bit better. That AFCW isn’t going to be a cakewalk for the Chiefs this year. 1

Ive given plenty of praise to Allen, you can search my post history. The bottom line is Herbert in year two looks phenomenal. I told some friends this a few weeks ago… but Herbert could end up being the best QB of this “generation” of QB’s— better than even Mahomes. Great blend of poise, accuracy, smarts, release, etc. 3
