Alphadawg7 Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 I thought this was yet another stellar performance by Levi. He’s quietly having a great season so far. Week 1 he got too much grief on the TD and PI, especially when he tipped the ball away on the TD and WR just made a sensational play to still catch it and get two feet down. It was excellent coverage by Levi though. And the PI was also excellent coverage and the ball was just poorly thrown making chase come back for it creating the contact. Again his coverage on the play was very good too. But he’s been great otherwise IMHO. Now we haven’t exactly faced a dangerous group of QBs so far, and next will be a big test for not only him but our whole defense. In the meantime, kudos to Levi for his play thus far. 7 9 1
Warcodered Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 We should hang on to this feeling going into next week. 1 1 2

No way man, Levi is an official red headed step child here on this forum, he can never do enough to be released from this plight, sarcasm off, 2
Rc2catch Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 I’ve said before and I’ll say again, Levi is the best bargain in all of football. His level of play vs salary throughout his career is nuts in today’s league. He could easily start on more than half the teams. People want “names” to replace him but he’s not as easily upgraded as many think. 5
BruceVilanch Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 That type of talk ain't welcome round these parts. 1

Levy wasn't very good when he started for the Bills often late covering and weak when tackling... DCs saw this too and that is why he was so often targeted, but iron sharpens iron and Wallace has had to fight each year to stay in the lineup and also knows when he was in the lineup he was going to get targeted a lot. Practicing against the Bills talented receiver core cannot have hurt either. The game has not been too big for him and he has tweaked some of his techniques in coverage that seem to have helped particularly when playing man. He looks back more and reads QBs and recognizes routes better and often knows when to come off his man and undercut another route. These were things you did not see much in years past when he was often reacting a bit late. Wallace will never be T White, but he just needs to be the best corner he can be and keep improving on the things that he does well Edited October 4, 2021 by WideNine 2

Yet one more kiss of death. Thanks a lot.... 1
Kwai San Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Agree OP - Levi has been all that for sure. Like you stated tho.....a big test on the way. Go BILLS! 1
Mark Long Beach Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 He's a legit NFL cornerback. Flawless? Heck no, but he's solid, competitive as all get out, does what the coaches want, and we got him as an UNDRAFTED free agent! Talk about value for a difficult to fill position.

He was also a walk on in college at Alabama as well. Great story overall Edited October 4, 2021 by Alphadawg7
Udubalum07 Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Levi has been amazing as a walk on in college and undrafted. One of my favorite people on the team, one of my favorites outside of Josh. 1
