This idea that is being thrown out by some to arbitrarily have Milano sit to rest his hammy is nuts.

The decision should be based on whether or not he is putting himself at a medium/high level or risk of aggravating the injury.  In other words, is he healthy or not?   If he's healthy, you play him.  Tennessee is a team when they are playing well is one of the better teams in the league and this is a big Monday night football game against a conference foe who whooped our butts last year on the road.

Milano has been playing at an All pro level this year, the Bills could use him in this matchup.

I want to add that the Milano question this week also doesn't have to all or nothing.  If he is healthy there is no reason not to get him snaps on a

limited basis.

Let's see - the schedule for the next few weeks -

7 - bye

8 - fins

9 - jags

10 - jets

11 - colts

12 - saints

I'd rather have him playing Monday night, his presence might mean the difference in playoff seeding. If he aggravates it so be it. If he gets through we can give him limited reps the next few weeks anyway.

Milano is ranked 1st overall in LB's by PFF, 3rd in coverage, 1st in rushing the passer, 8th in run defense.  Only LB in the league with a grade above 90.

You mean PFF gave a Bills player a good grade? I’m shocked.

Why would you be shocked? We’ve had numerous players graded well on PFF.

McD should play the long game here. Any other injury besides a hamstring he should play. However with a hamstring and a bye week you sit him this week and increase your chances he plays healthy the rest of the way

Holy crap. People are still seriously saying this crap? the dude is literally off the injury report. Stop it.

In previous years that he has had a hamstring injury, he’s never missed more than one game and injury did not re-occur. McDermott actually said he did play the long game by sitting him on Sunday, as he could have played, but was not 100% so didn’t want one game to turn into 2-3. He’s ok now, zero reason to not play

Let’s hope this string of health continues. Honesty think the only thing derailing this team from a Super Bowl is injuries to key players.
If a player is healthy, he plays. McD knows how important 5-1 and beating Tenn is to getting this team home field for the playoffs.
