Getting under the skin of a younger Josh Allen - anyone seen this clip before?

I just came across this highlight.  Pretty funny.  The flag was thrown on the defender, by the way:

Note how Allen is the one that has to make the tackle.

Speaking of Wyoming football couple of Josh's former teammates got talked about in GMFB for potentially having big games on Thursday. Josh Allen, Logan Wilson, and Andrew Wingard weirdly talented Wyoming team I guess.

That clip shows you how much his footwork and throwing motion have changed since college.  Its pretty incredible.

The fact that he, one of the players furthest from where the ball was picked, was the first one there to make the tackle says something.

 

Reminds me of Jim Kelly, he was always so pissed off when you picked him off and he was sure as hell to let you know it too.

I re-watched after I read your post and you are right, his footwork was terrible in that clip, looked like a high schooler.

I was at that game. I had forgotten about that. Wyoming hung into early in the third and then he started throwing pick after pick. He was just trying to push the ball down field as much as he could.

Footwork like that makes it hard to tell who he was even TRYING to throw to.

He was aiming at the receiver underneath, but threw it about 6ft over his head. Having your feet that close together & throwing off the back foot will do that.

Now, now, we really don't know how good a tackler Gilmore is.  We never got a chance to see him actually try.
