BillsFan4 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 this is kind of cool. btw, the Sabres actually look pretty good tonight from the little bit I’ve watched.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 If you aren't watching the opener try and catch the third. You'll be amazed. 1
Draconator Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I only watched the 3rd, and that was the best period of hockey I've seen this team play in a very long time 1

It was all-Buffalo, all 60 minutes. Unreal. The best guys were the ones we wanted to run out of town: Thompson, Okposo, Zemgus, Eakin. 2
Buffalophil1948 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 WOW!!!! That was completely entertaining. The hustle and heart that they showed was incredible. Anderson was solid! 1
Captain Caveman Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Wow, I don't expect them to keep that up all season but it would be amazing if they do. 2

The Jokeman Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I didn't catch the game but did whatever caused Mittelstadt to get hurt look serious?
Rockpile233 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I had a lot of fun watching last night. Good to have the whiney, bad attitudes off the team.
BillsFan4 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 They looked really good last night. If they keep playing like that they’ll start winning back the fan base. 2
May Day 10 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I watched a lot of the game last night. Was pretty good. They played well and took advantage of a sub-NHL goalie. Effort was there though. Okposo was a beast. It reminds me of when they blew New Jersey out of the building in the opener a couple years ago 1

It reminds me of when they blew New Jersey out of the building in the opener a couple years ago Okposo is playing about 2 steps faster than previous seasons. There was a comment from Duff that the players are pushing each other to improve their conditioning and Granato said this team will be much better conditioned than in previous years. IT showed. They looked fast out there last night. Not just in individual skating but in puck movement, in transition, on the forecheck. It was a pleasure to watch compared to the young, slow, and tired team I am used to watch that fades in the second half of games. I'm not saying they will win a lot of games, but if they play with that kind of effort night in night out I'll support them. 1
May Day 10 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Okposo looks visibly happy that Hockey-Joffrey is out of the picture

This was mentioned multiple times during postgame player and coach interviews. I think they should all get a patch for attending this game 2 1
