Bills fan since 87 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Did Lamar het fined for his endzone flip? 5
machine gun kelly Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) I disagree. Lamar didn’t flip into a defensive player and get in his face. Every team was shown videos this summer basically Levi’s denied hand move is fine, just not over the WR. They knew. Levi was stupid for not jumping up in a quarter turn in any direction beside standing over looking down at the WR, and never would’ve been called. Past NFL officials have been on radio shows all week stating the point of emphasis and they cited Levi’s move which is benign. You just can’t stand over the receiver looking down at him doing it. some may not like it but they were told. Just like Josh was told he can spin the ball in the end zone, but can’t be facing the defensive player. I knew it was getting called as he was doing it. I was at a bills backers bar, and I’m yelling no Levi. I understand football is emotional. I played and coached, but if I’m shown video of what not to do, I’m not doing anything to hurt my team. Taro Nimbus Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Dude who spit at another player should’ve got suspended. That’s just nasty. 5 1

SoCal Deek Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) How in the world is signaling that the pass is incomplete taunting, when your actual job is to make sure the pass is incomplete??? Is it taunting when the pass receiver signals that he CAUGHT the pass? Is it taunting when the running back signals that he was down before fumbling? Nope! It’s their freaking job! It’s NOT personal against the other player! Edited September 25, 2021 by SoCal Deek 1 1 1
BigAl2526 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 I'm OK with making taunting an unsportsmanlike penalty if they want. I think a fine is a bit much. Maybe if a player engages in such behavior regularly.

MJS Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 You should get suspended a game for spitting at someone. That's as disrespectful and unsportsmanlike as it gets. 1 2
billsbackto81 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) Man that's rough. If you have to fine a player why can't it be a certain percentage of their game check instead of a fixed rate for the infraction. 5k plus on Levi Wallace is painful for someone making 1 mil per. If you'd fine Jalen Ramsey 5k he'd probably laugh it off. Seems like the right call by rule. Edited September 25, 2021 by billsbackto81

RobbRiddick Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Wow, that's insane. And such a strange amount, 9.526. Like how do they work out that specific amount? And why was Wallace's taunt only 5k less than spitting at an opponent?

Spitting on someone in most work places is considered an assault and usually charged as such if the victim decides to press the issue.
Fixxxer Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 That is BS right there, a flag? ok, but a fine? Was Zimmer fined for the hit on Brissett where he drew a flag?
Warcodered Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 and yet AJ Epenesa continues to run scot-free despite caving in a man's chest.😉 1 1
