BillsFanForever19 Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/NFL_SC-RUMOR nfl.com's rumor section reports that even though Shane Matthews resigned, they still need to convince him to stay on the team through the year. Perhaps he's just here for training camp?
PastaJoe Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 My thought when I heard he re-signed was that he was just going to stick around to help Losman and Holcomb out to start, but at some point they would sign some young or rookie free agent QB to be the 3rd.

But who would they bring in? I mean, Timmy Chang, Brock Berlin, Chris Rix, Jason White, etc. have all signed on with other teams. Do you think we'd give #3 to Kevin Thompson or Tory Woodbury? I like Tory because he can play WR and ST as well.
Arkady Renko Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Shane Matthews has got to get his head on straight and make up his mind.
Fan in San Diego Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 There must be a pretty long list of retreads for the third QB spot. Dump Shane if he is unsure.
stuckincincy Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I'm certain he's economically secure. Maybe he's just having some fun poking Ol' Whitey. I know I'd like the opportunity.
Fan in San Diego Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Heck there must be a long list of unsigned QB's that would love to be with the Bills.
Buftex Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Heck there must be a long list of unsigned QB's that would love to be with the Bills. 322688[/snapback] Rob Johnson is reportedly looking to make a return to the leauge!
