StHustle Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Mod Edit: Now announced: https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/eagles-great-lesean-mccoy-officially-announces-his-retirement?cid=Yahoo&partner=ya4nbcs As some may already know Im sort of an NFL insider, however, can rarely speak on things I know because of NDAs and all that. I will never be anyone's anonymous source. Anyway, LeSean is retiring and will be honored next week at the Chiefs @ Eagles game. I got the honor to be invited to the party and will post pics in this thread when the time comes. I thought this was already reported and was looking for a link to add in this thread before I realized it hasnt been announced yet. Probably because LeSean wants to remain "available" until the last minute in case the right situation crops up within the next few days. Whatever the case is, I got approval to speak on this as its not considered a big deal and the public announcement is imminent. I will also be attending the Eagles/Chiefs game 🤮 but sporting my Bills McCoy jersey as he will always be a Bill in my heart ♥️ 23 9 9
YoloinOhio Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Congrats, Shady! Great career and provided a lot of awesome moments as a Bill. Hopefully the Eagles beat the chiefs in his honor 8 4 1
Bills fan since 87 Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Love the way his attitude changed once he got here. Shady always will have a spot in the mafia as far as I'm concerned 14 1
RobbRiddick Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Had a couple of great years for us. So strange how a RB's career can just fall off a cliff in the space of 1 season. Then again, he ruined The Avengers for so many Marvel fans so ***** him 8
The Jokeman Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Hopefully one day he can lead the charge. As while he had bumps in his career here off the field, on the field he was as good as we could have asked. 3

First Round Bust Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 (edited) one example, of soo many, jock and the average person, who are negative about Buffalo and when they visit-live in the area, the attitude changes to the positive...I took some friends from the Wash DC area up to Buffalo the last time we hosted Washington as they wanted to sample the Bills home game day experience; needless to say the Bills are their second favorite team and enjoyed our people, food and football culture...but they said our 40 degrees has to be the coldest they have experienced example two...Jerry Glanville, long-time coach, told a story that when as assistant he took a job in Buffalo, that his wife was upset and cried over it, and when they left town for another job, that she was upset and cried about leaving Buffalo... so good luck to Shady, he was the last of our go-to-backs when running the ball was still a priority.. dollars 2 donuts Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 He had a great career, got paid and got a ring. He wraps up on the plus side. Good luck in the future, Shady. 2
Draconator Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Thank you Shady for what you did on the field in Buffalo. Congrats on a great career! 2 1
transient Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Always enjoyed his candor behind the mic almost as much as his on-field production. Congratulations on a great career. 3
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Honestly one of my favorite Bills. Loved watching him play 1

MarlinTheMagician Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I credit him significantly for the immense joy of the 2017 season, one of my favorite years. I will never forget that team - Shady, Zo, Kyle and Tyrod made something out of nothing with McDermott leading the way. I knew we had a bright future by the time I went to Jacksonville for that heartbreaking loss. Even walking out though, I knew better days were ahead of us. 💪 1
WhoTom Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Congrats to Shady on a great career, and thanks for being a bright spot on the Bills for a few seasons.
chris heff Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Yeah McCoy is a swell guy. Who among us hasn’t abused restaurant employees and left a $.20 tip? Going to a strip club with some thugs who get into a fight with off duty cops shows pretty good judgment. Then there was the ex-girlfriend that he couldn’t get rid of who coincidentally gets roughed up and robbed. I think he should go up on the wall. 2 3 1 7

Chandler#81 Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I’m surprised to see this. I thought he retired when we cut him😳 1
eball Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Loved watching Shady play for the red, white, and blue, and glad he was a big part of ending the drought. Also happy for him he backed into two rings at the end of his career. HOFer? I think so. 1
