Texans +16.5 for week 4.  Could that go higher?

Good lord.  Only seen one that high a handful of times, ever.

Darnold is seeing ghosts.

Tonight, he's actually NOT seeing very real pass rushers closing in around him. SO loose with the ball in the pocket, holding it low in one hand as the pocket collapses. That's been a persistent flaw of his since college.

He'd be good if he just took care of the damned ball better on a fundamental level in the pocket (keep two hands on the damned rock, hold it up higher, and abbreviate that motion a little to eliminate such a dramatically low dip in the windup--he's no Byron Leftwich, but I'll bet his motion is still "bigger" than most). It's especially weird that he's so loose and long with his ball handling in the pocket, because he seems to be so mechanically sound and accelerated when throwing on the run in either direction, especially to his left.

Never pay a RB.. just hope to catch lightning in a bottle during his rookie deal

If Houston somehow wins this game and starts the year 2-1, go ahead and give David Culley coach of the year right now. They were beating Cleveland too until Tyrod went down.

Weak PI call.  Even if the ball had been catchable.  Looked like the receiver did more of the pushing.

He drove tight into him, defender had no chance

Their D clearly hasn’t gotten the message they are supposed to suck.
