Mookie Betts of the Dodgers helped get a kid the ball he hit for his first major league hit - a home run. Say what you want about star athletes but there are still some good guys out there (and some play for the Bills!). I'm proud to say I saw Mookie play in his first professional season when he played single-A ball in Lowell, MA.

Did I see that right? Did the Reds fan who threw the ball back give the bat to a kid with a Betts jersey? If so then 'What a guy' applies to the Reds fan too.

Just saw they gave the kids the bat so he could have his picture taken with it. Your point still stands!
