Gugny Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Fine should be coming down soon for the dirty hit that knocked Tua out. How much do you think it will be? 9 3 15 12 2 4
Scott7975 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 I don't think it was dirty, but that doesn't mean he won't get fined. 2
Bill from NYC Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 I am a fan of Tua. He seems like a really great kid but I did not see any foul, unless he was hit in the face. I didn't see the play from the direction Tua was facing. Other than that It looked like a perfectly clean play to me. 2
Mark Vader Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 He better not get fined. There was nothing wrong with that hit. 1
Nextmanup Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Clean hit, but watch how Tua was slammed down onto his back. I assume all the damage came when he slammed into that turf. It was painful watching it on TV. I'm surprised guys aren't knocked out of games more often than they are, to be honest. 1 1
Bobby Hooks Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 It was 100% clean, and in watching the replay he didn’t even put his weight on him when they fell. Not sure if this thread is supposed to be funny, but I’m not laughing. 7 minutes ago, Bill from NYC said: I am a fan of Tua. I could see if you liked him in college or something but as soon as he’s drafted by the Fish that fandom should go the way of the passenger pigeon. 1 2 1
RoyBatty is alive Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Some rocket scientist actually voted for more than $20k. Whatever gives people their kicks.
brianthomas Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Its not AJ's fault Tua is made of glass 1

I was impressed by the athleticism AJ showed in making sure he DIDNT slam him. He went above and beyond to cradle the dude. Would be a disgrace if he got fined. Go re watch the end of the hit 1 1

I think you mean he didn't flamboyantly slam him or whatever. 5 minutes ago, Bobby Hooks said: It was 100% clean, and in watching the replay he didn’t even put his weight on him when they fell. I remember when Miami owned us and won every game against us forever. And I hated Dan Marino and guys like Mark Duper as much as anyone at the time! But come on, man. The rivalry between these 2 franchises is so dead now, your comments don't really add up anymore. Both teams slipped into irrelevancy after the Kelly vs. Marino Wars, and stayed there for 2 decades! Any rivalry that used to exist (and oh how it was a good one) was killed during that time. If I had to name a real rivalry that exists today, I would say New England vs. Bills, certainly not Miami. Or maybe KC vs. Bills! I hope that is the rivalry of the future. We have to actually beat them at some point to make that happen, however. 1 4

In fact, he did all he could to keep his weight off of him imo. 2 3
