What happens if Tua Doesn’t Get Hurt?

Do you think the score is any closer or that Miami capitalizes on some of the empty 2nd quarter trips to the red zone?  

I know the sample size was small but it seems like Tua was a deer in the headlights and while his OL did him no favors I think his head was spinning with the free blitzes that were coming through

If Tua didn't get injured, I think there's a serious chance he might have gotten benched. He looked lost out there.

I think it would have been even more of a blood bath. Brisset was able to get some throws off because of his size. He made many throws while getting hammered by defenders as well.

 

I don't think Tua would have been able to have as much poise, and he is smaller so he would not have been able to fight through defenders to get passes off.

Hard to say - I am not convinced that JB is not just as good as Tua - although I think Tua has better ball placement - I think JB’s experience helped get him into better plays and make plays when nothing was there.

 

My gut tells me that Tua probably finds some scores late - he did put 17 on NE and I consider them to be an excellent defense.

 

I just think the Bills go even more killer and he would of eventually been knocked out because he just was not able to handle the defense pressure we were throwing up.

I think you mean if Tua doesn't get hurt ON THAT PLAY.  With how things were going, he was getting hurt eventually anyways.  Even Brissett looked to be in pain at times, and he's better built for it than Tua.

I honestly don't think there is anyway Tua was getting out of that game healthy.  He's too fragile and our pass rush had bad intentions all game. 

 

Brissett was a friggin magician back there to stay somewhat upright in time to get throws off.

Same result or worse. If anything, Brissett is enough of a veteran to move the ball a bit for them.

Even if Tua avoids injury by some miracle, they still probably pull him for "dear God, he's going to get killed out there, sacrifice the big bodied backup" reasons.

 

Just seemed to be a game where the backup was destined to finish the game, regardless of who was the starter.

no run game established, so tua would have gotten the ball out quicker, as the pressure dictates, so would like to see D take away his first preferences-tendencies...

 

which has me thinking about upcoming home game with another young qb, the expected pressure and crowd noise has to have a good coach like Rivera make his qb get rid of it in 2.5 secs more or less...so your answer may come this Sunday at home..bring it...but stop the run first.

Face it, the only time Tua can be truly effective is if he has a constantly clean pocket, and really, that’s not ever gonna happen on a regular basis, Tua is to small and to fragile, and does not have what would be called good velocity on almost all of his passes, he is not gonna make it as a top QB in this league, the guy just doesn’t have the mental and physical gifts necessary for the job.

I honestly believe the Bills would have had a shot at the all time sack record for a game if Tua stayed in.  I think eventually he would have been out of the game no matter how you slice it.......wither by another injury or by being pulled.  The game would have been more lopsided.

Dolphins might’ve gotten on the scoreboard but the game would’ve had a lot more laughs.
