JerseyBills Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Groot is already showing he can play at an elite level, through only 2 games, you can just watch him causing consistent chaos in the backfield. Can't believe 29 teams passed on him. He's on pace to be a DROY candidate! Just unbelievable play by the rookie, he looks like a man amongst boys! Incredible AJ just has a swagger and look that he didn't have last year. He also looks like he'll be an elite DE. Both are super quick off the ball and are the missing pieces to us getting to the next level . Add in Hughes, Addison and that's an elite rotation. Hopefully Efe can heal up and Boogie can come on later in the year. Through 2 weeks we look like one of , if not the best defense in the game and our DL is a huge reason, specifically AJ and Groot! Phenomenal front office, taking a chance on a guy who sat out all of 2020 was genius. These scouts are amazing. Now we know why we let go of Daryl Johnson.. LETS GOOO BUFFFFFALLLLLOOO 17 10 4 2
Success Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Both guys are really impressive. It's what we needed - some real playmakers on D, who can pressure the offense consistently. NOW this team reminds me of the SB teams. Balanced on both sides. 2 1
NewEra Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I thought Aj was the best player on the field today. 0 tackles. 0 sacks. 0 problem. I decided that I’ll be getting a red Epenesa jersey this year. He’s looks to be our best pass rusher. Sorry Jerry. Rousseau was certainly impressive. Almost had 3 sacks. Looks like a future pro bowler. Versatile and more athletic than I thought he’d be. that said……the Dolphins are starting 5 Feliciano clones along the OL 2 1 9 1
Matt_In_NH Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I think you also have to give credit to the bills for developing epenesa. Last year he was scratched a couple times. COVID did not help but he was an absolute beast today. 10 3

Matt is balling out. But Groot was good too. 5 4 1

BaaadThingsMan Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 (edited) Dudes are about terrors. I'm loving it. Good for AJ especially. He just ignores the haters and works. Edited September 19, 2021 by BaaadThingsMan 5 1

Royale with Cheese Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Epensea looks more athletic this year. I watched him a lot during the game and he’s developing a nice stutter step….gets the offensive lineman off balance. 4
Rico Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 AJ is savage, exactly what this team needs. Want to see him smash the Rat in a few weeks. 3 1 1 1 2
DefenseWins Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 (edited) Agreed about Epenesa and Groot... Zimmer looked good too. Edited September 19, 2021 by DefenseWins 3

Milano as a blitzer >>>>>>>>>>>>> Edmunds as a blitzer Grout was also very impressive. Epenesa just seems to have found an extra gear of destruction 1 1
Starr Almighty Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Let's not get ahead of ourselves Tre missed 3 sacks that would of led the team. How good can the line be playing if a CB could of had the most sacks in a game😏😏😏😆 5

Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I would love it if one of our media types would do a piece on who is playing where, how much on the OL The big surprise to me on the inactives was Harrison Phillips. But, even with Star out, he only played 36% of the snaps last week. Zimmer saw 40%, Butler saw 50%, and Big Ed saw 62%. Obada had 26% and pretty sure I saw him playing inside at DT at times. I wonder if this is a "healthy scratch but not really" situation where he isn't on the injury report but is still needing to work his way back from the knee? Otherwise, it's looking bad for Mr. Horrible; either Butler or Zimmer or both have jumped him on the depth chart.
