YoloinOhio Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 (edited) I don’t think the score would have been any different with him in there Edited September 25, 2021 by YoloinOhio 1 1 9
Beast Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Hopefully Tuna will heal in time for our week 8 matchup. 5 1 10 5
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 People will blame this loss on Tua’s injury, but in my opinion, Brissett gave them a better chance. 8 27 1
Warcodered Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 He's got the number 57 imprinted into his chest. 3 9 1
patzen Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 His injury allowed Miami to put the better QB in the game IMO. But wishing him a speedy recovery. 3 3 1

I mean I feel like when Brissett was forced to throw it deep he proved this false. Edited September 19, 2021 by Warcodered 1 1

Brissett was getting hounded all day and did a nice job evading the rush and making people miss and making throws under pressure that I don't think Tua would have been able to make. Brissett is very limited in his downfield passing, true, but I think he is the slightly better QB at this point in their careers but I think Tua will surpass him soon. 1

GunnerBill Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Don't think it made any difference but other than scrambling about a bit Brissett sucked.

I'm not trying to say they should start Brissett over a healthy Tua, just that at this moment in time that I think Brissett is the better QB.

Behind their line today at least Brissett could move. But nothing else about Brissett was good. 169 yards. 40 attempts. 🤮
YoloinOhio Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 Here we go again. First Fitz now this guy. even they know Tua sucks 6 1

Brissett definitely showed the value of his experience. He was accurate and decisive in getting the ball out when we brought the blitz. I thought Gesicki was going to murder us again, but he did nothing, then made a couple plays, then disappeared again.
