I think people have been unfair to Edmunds, but he "makes a play" so rarely that his 'discipline' in the passing game doesn't really make up for it.

No I say pretty much everyone because its situation dependent. If the team needs the score at the end of the game.  They might not punt there.  When the score is 14-0 with a half a football game left the right thing to do is punt.  There might be some psycho arrogant coach that doesn't but its dumb to not punt there.
