BruceVilanch Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 This is my first time on here since sunday.
ThurmanThomasEnglishMuffin Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 I generally lurk. I try not to make 'hot takes'. I think there were a lot of self inflicted wounds last week. I made the mistake of making an OP a few days later. My heart can't take that much salt!

oldmanfan Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Nah. You just learn to ignore the Chicken Littles who want to cut or fire everyone after a loss.

Dr.Sack Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Expect a Dub, be ready for an L. So is life, and football.

I lurk but post much less. The threads get ridiculous (well, even more ridiculous) and it's exhausting. Is it just me? I avoid most of the bills YouTube videos too. I make sure to watch the PCs, but will rarely listen to the media pundits. I see enough negativity here, no need to fill my thoughts with more of it. funny how everyone agrees with your post……meanwhile the legend mean gene rolls his eyes. 😂 1

I tried to explain Sunday night to my wife, son and DIL how the city has a different vibe early in the week after a loss. They heard me, but I am SURE they didn’t fully comprehend it. It’s not just this board, it pervades all of WNY from my experience.
Mr. WEO Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I come for the 1/2 dozen "relax" threads.... 1
Steptide Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 To be honest, this place is at its best after a loss. I'll ALWAYS take a bills win, but, when they're playing good and winning (like last season) there's alot less talk happening. Having said that, yes the opinions and takes on here after a loss can be annoying

I dunno, when they stunk it was always hopeful and it was consuming. The last two years have been an incredible ride but now they are expected to be among the best, now there is no way they are overachieving. it’s back to the 90s era where they either won because of course they should have or they lose because they don’t try hard enough or some bs Edited September 17, 2021 by Over 29 years of fanhood

Might Rather Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I definitely stay away from some threads after a loss...I am an optimistic person so I don't open if it looks like doom and gloom.
BfloBillsFan Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I don't check the site as often the week after a loss. I also try to avoid listening to WGR and other media related to Bills.

Richard Noggin Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Stay away until Wednesday, typically. Once we're tangibly on to the next opponent, it's worthwhile to get back at it.

The only posts that set me over the edge are the posts stating the officials are biased and favor one team over another. And there are some posts that are just factually incorrect and foster narratives that are simply not true. 1
ProcessAccepted Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Yeah for sure. Depending on the loss I plug out for a couple of days then ease back in here and slowly start watching videos of pressers and pundits about the upcoming week. Not interested in looking back. mikemac2001 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Ya I would click it out of habit and just close the browser can’t do it wasn’t that mad about the lose I think Steelers matchup well and week 1 a good lesson isn’t a bad thing but ya coming to the board was tough to many suicidal fans and dumb articles
