Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Bills are up and in control. On the play where they called back the White interception, I dripped sauce from a wing onto my pure white Josh Allen jersey. Needless to say, the game went downhill from there. The symbolism of the stain on the white Allen jersey could not have been more obvious. Even worse, it was Buffalo-style sauce. Need I say more. So, I just wanted to apologize to everyone and note that I will try harder next week. 3 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 14 1 1 1
BuffaloBill Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 You should be banned from watching Bills games and eating wings. 2
Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Nope my son lost it. He is at college pre-season cross country practices and left his Bills lucky t-shirt in the laundry. Blame him. 1 2

qwksilver Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 No this one is on me. I was in 716 over the summer and picked up a couple of new T-shirts at the stadium store. I got cocky and wore one of them yesterday. It won't happen again. On to MIami. 1 1

billsherd Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 It was me, I put on the bills hat which I wore last year every time they lost during regular season. I thought we are too good to worry about this now. 3

LongTermBuffalonian Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 (edited) Eh, It could've been me... I have an old Fred Jackson jersey that I wore for years, during the "bad times". Sadly - I kinda outgrew it so it was in storage for a while. This last year - I lost some weight and I realized it would fit again... I was working for the first part of the game, so I wasn't wearing any Bills apparel. As soon as I could (right around the time we were up 10-0, as a matter of fact) - I pulled out that jersey and pulled it on to settle in and watch the rest of the game. TBH - I think the jersey still has the baggage/stink/karma of the "bad old days" attached... The team went very "Bills"y at that point... As soon as the blocked punt occured - I realized it was my fault and took off the jersey - but it was too little, too late. We scored, but not enough... ~~~~ On the good news side - I *do* have a new Allen Jersey arriving this week, so the Jackson jersey is going to be retired to the back of the closet.... JMF2006 Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Did you happen to throw it on the I90 to wash it? 2
Just in Atlanta Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 The first step is admitting it. The next is correcting it. Don’t be a slob. And don’t try. Do. 3
Freddie's Dead Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 It was me. I couldn't go to the WV's Bills Backer's bar in Pacific Beach, so I had to stay in the hotel and try to pick up the game on the bandit feed. Missed most of the 1st QTR, and the stream was blipping all game long. 1

buffaloboyinATL Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 It was me. I got too relaxed, let a Steelers fan watch the game with me and did not wear my winning shirt from last year. I will be better next week and all superstitions will be respected going forward. (the football gods should not be trifled with) 1
