But, it is still a different position. Do we see Gilliam in RPO, or play action? Not having Moss does have an impact in 10, or 11 formations. We're doomed.
DCofNC Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Pretty surprised honestly, guess Gilliam is really going to be the goal line hammer.

Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Interesting move. Moss may never have the speed to play in NFL but he broke tackles last year. Something not seen in Buffalo since Fred Jackson
BaaadThingsMan Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Strange but I do expect a breakout year from Singletary
AmishRifle Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Couple of honest questions: Do inactives get game checks? Moss has been dinged up in TC and pre-season. Anyone think he’s still hurt?
Maybe Someday Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Healthy scratch. He’ll be playing Yeldon’s roll from last year.
Niagara Bill Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 MacKenzie only return guy, need B to replace...
Buffarukus Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 so i guess the plan was to use our qb as a power back. if that's the plan they should start constant fumble drills with josh because he STILL holds it like a loaf of bread every time. it is frightening to watch both injury and turnover wise.
Matt_In_NH Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 So I am curious about Breida over Moss now. I expected to see a little more Breida. Moss is the best blocker of the three. That might have been good today especially if you are not using Breida. 1

I been pounding the table for Devin to remain the lead back and insist he will be a top 5 ypc back this season. Thoughts on Moss being inactive? Will this be a usual thing. Must be a huge shock to a lot of folks… Just for this game. buffalo wasn’t doing a heavy run attack against the Steelers. Other teams he will dress.
DCofNC Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Well I’m gonna second guess the whole game plan.
saundena Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Probably could have used his blocking skills today
MAJBobby Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Glad we had Brieda and Jones active for their ST play. And the bills were not good on ST. 1 2

That whole special team specialist thing so hard to get behind, it already takes up 3 spots by default. Then adding a fast guy who can tackle but suck at regular football? hard to buy into
Coach Tuesday Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Lol McD sits Moss as a “coach’s decision” and his replacement fumbles twice. This should be interesting. Wonder if Motor gets to ride the pine next Sunday now. 2
bigduke6 Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 honestly dont see Moss as being a huge factor if he had played. clearly our O Coord isnt really into actually running the ball. he'd rather run QB draws all day and hope that our very expensive "MVP" QB doesnt get hurt in the process. Devin lined up at WR a ton today, mbe hes more of a threat in those formations than Moss would have been and thats why Moss was scratched. really seemed like Moss just didnt fit todays gameplan. 2 2
FieldGeneral Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Lost an AFC game to prove a point. Good job coach. 1
