HOUSE Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 (edited) Tim Benz | Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 5:51 a.m. Steelers Defensive coordinator Keith Butler on Josh Allen: 'There's a price to pay' for QBs who 'want to be treated like a running back' I asked Butler whether his defenders have braced themselves for Allen to finish his rushing attempts like a running back. “I hope he does try to finish his runs like a running back. We’ll treat him like a running back. If he wants to be treated like a running back, we’ll do that, too,” Butler said. https://triblive.com/sports/steelers-keith-butler-on-josh-allen-theres-a-price-to-pay-for-qbs-who-want-to-be-treated-like-a-running-back/ . RyanC883 Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Butler is an idiot. Yeah, I'm sure Josh is scared. Better worry about your DB's Butler. 2
May Day 10 Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 sounds a small step away from "Effect the head" 1 2

He will learn that Josh has that Brady mentality in terms of making people pay for their words 3 1 1
DJB Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 (edited) Isn't Keith Butler 65 years old? I dont think Josh is afraid of an old man. Perhaps we can send Butler this? Edited September 10, 2021 by DJB 3 1
Florida Bills Fanatic Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Sounds like a guy that may be worried about his job. Defense is going to have to carry their team this year and he may realize that they are probably not up to that challenge. Threats and intimidation rarely works with professional athletes. It is usually a sign of uncertainty or desperation. 1
ProcessAccepted Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 If they they try anything unprofessional I'd run him the @%*# over on the sidelines running back style. 1
SirAndrew Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Good to see someone keeping Steelers tradition alive. 1
SCBills Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Typically I don’t buy into meh statements by opposition as bulletin board material…. But this isn’t meh, and this seems like something that our locker room has absolutely been made aware of. 1
clayboy54 Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Fool still thinks Josh is a run-first quarterback. Shame on him! 4 1

If someone can catch Josh in the open field with a clean hit and cut him in half, go for it! That's what football is all about, and why I don't watch field hockey instead.
Beast Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 (edited) I hope Josh scampers out of bounds and gives him the Tom Olividatti treatment. Edited September 10, 2021 by Beast 2

Yeah i've never understood the tough guy routine, especially from coaches. What does this smoothbrain think is going to happen if Josh Allen gets taken out by a cheap shot? I'd expect every skill player on the Steelers to receive similar if not worse treatment the rest of the game. Who does this guy think he is? GGregggggg? 4
WhoTom Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 So if anything happens to Josh, we'll know the Butler did it. 1 5 3
MJS Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Smarter to just say that Allen is really good and leave it at that. There's nothing to gain by being a tough guy to the media. 1 1
