Yoho Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 when i hear 1965 throwback, i expect these and nothing else... http://www.athlegraphic.com/FFP/images/1960/Buffalo65.gif 322249 What the heck happened to poor Booker Edgerson?
Sound_n_Fury Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 If they do it right, they need to bust out the throwbacks for that Saturday night home ESPN game vs. Denver. 323609 Cool...if we have a blizzard that night, the white uni's might be damn near invisible (sort of like a stealth bomber)!

At San Diego would be interesting as well if both teams wear the 60's uniforms. That would look very cool. 323609 Great ideas.
Just Jack Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Here's an idea that might get Buffalo in the pages of Sports Illustrated: The Bills should promote a home game as a 60's throwback game and in addition to having the players wear the original uniforms, ask the attending fans to do the same - women in June Cleaver attire, wool coats, vintage 60's horn-rimmed shades, and men wearing coats, ties, slacks, and donning fedora hats. 323492 I'd do it.

I can't believe in this day of reality TV that the NFL or the networks haven't thought of that already. It would get tons of press coverage and be really fun to boot.

kasper13 Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Can we also bring in full bottles of booze and cases of beer like they used to in the old days at the Rockpile?
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Can we also bring in full bottles of booze and cases of beer like they used to in the old days at the Rockpile? 324171 Screw that! Too many bottles or cans to get in the way! What about a beerball or 1/4 keg?
