Texans organization too inept to  try and capitalize on all their RBs,

Give you an idea as to how inept, their kicker has been hurt  for a few weeks and they had to have Justin Reid, a safety, doing kickoffs last pre-season game, he wasnt bad by the way.  But they knew the kicker was hurt or at least dinged up a  few weeks ago, it was until this Monday they brought in kickers to to try out.  Now their kicker is officially on IR.  The pats have a spare kicker on their PS, think the Texans would have thought of that?  You think the Bills would be this sloppy?

Agree. Texans have to be the worst run organization in all of sports and that includes the Sabres.

Wow, relax.

He/she is jus repeating a very common oft repeated comment about Lamar.

Excellent comment.

In the bad old days we would’ve called this “Billsy.” Texanish doesn’t have the same ring to it but I suggest some form of that as shorthand for general incompetence surfacing in the most ridiculous ways imaginable. Sometimes not even imaginable until they actually happen.

Yes common and often repeated but not based in facts and refuted by actual statistics.

Murray’s price just went up. Perfect landing spot for him.

Supply and demand.

If Peters is hurt too same could go for Richard Sherman.

Texans RBs Phllip Lindsay and David Johnson make for intrigue.  The case for Ingram is obvious, but the Ravens let him go for a reason.  They may not want him back even though he knows the Offensive scheme. Either way, you have to figure no matter who the Ravens put in backfield, it's going to be a rough MNF running the ball.

All the people saying it's Le'Veon Bell time must not have seen Ty'son Williams run in the preseason. I have a feeling he'll be the lead back -- and a breakout star -- for the Ravens this season.

Then again, I could just be saying that because I roster Ty'son Williams in all three of my fantasy leagues.

I managed to grab him in one of my leagues earlier this week on a hunch he'd get his shot. Didn't expect it to happen like this!

Who peed in your cornflakes this morning?
Lamar can silence all his haters this year. He’s the best talent Roman has had, but it’s still a Roman offense. Everyone knows the trend after 2-3 seasons of that scheme. They’re off to a rough start, so we might find out if Lamar can read the field, or lead a comeback when they have to abandon the run. Stats don’t always tell the story. But he’s also done what’s been asked of him so far.
I don’t see why race and ignorance has to be brought in. Players get a bad rap for things and everyone jumps on.
Diggs was a team cancer. Allen couldn’t hit the side of a barn. Lamar is a running back. Almost every team has a couple players who face heavy criticism and labels.

He threw for 2757 last year.
He threw a pick for every 2.34 TDs last year.

His throws outside  are sketchy.

That isn’t being ignorant or racist ( BS accusation) It’s having an opinion about a guy who while talented isn’t a great pure passer.

Have a nice day Ethan

According to Sports Info Solutions, on throws outside the numbers, his accuracy dipped from 64.7% to 59.7%, his interception rate more than doubled (to 3%), and his passer rating fell from 101.7 to 85.3. (The San Francisco 49ers' Nick Mullens, by comparison, finished 27th in overall passer rating last season, at 84.1.)May 11, 2021

It could just be me, but I think the "sling the ball all over the field" is the operative concern.

Lamar is very good at the throws he makes, but teams that defend him effectively key on certain areas of the field because he's known to be not as effective making those throws, thus doesn't try as often.    He made some strides last season, but not enough to strike fear into the defense.

I thought that was pretty common knowledge (ie not ignorant) and also pretty universally applicable to NFL QBs (ie not racist)

Teams did something similar to Josh when he was struggling with the deep ball in 2019 - they would play Cover 0 and dare him to throw the deep post because he couldn't hit it, and they knew it.

Well, I do have Mark Andrews in fantasy.  Maybe this will force Lamar to actually learn how to throw the ball?

Lamar can throw the ball just fine.  All over the field is another question.

I think the offense he took is the "MVB" comment...not sure what the B actually stands for, but certainly comes across as referencing his skin color, and honestly thats how it came across to me too.  So if B stands for something else, so be it, but that should be clarified.  If it does reference his skin color, then that certainly comes across as offensive then.

I missed that part. So I’ll apologize to Ethan if that’s why he tossed the race part into it. I actually thought it stood for most valuable back 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I’ve never seen anyone say MVB though
