Stupid for Cowboys not go for it on 4th down.

Man, I hate Brady.

on the bright side, at least the Cowboys lost.

Agreed. Last year Zimmer went for 4th and short to ice a game and failed. Belichick had his, go for it on his own side of the field, against P Manning and failed.

I find those decisions some much more forgivable than what McCarthy decided to do here.

just really sick of Brady getting all the calls. The non call of offensive pass interference was awful, combined with ticky tack holding calls on Dallas.

I tell my friends its the Brady factor. Cheifs dbs were dragging bills wrs to the ground, 2 weeks later Brady gets 3 penalties In the first 2 drives. Extension of the arm to get separation is a no brainer call. Just glad other teams can now feel the frustration that us bills fans have felt.

Great game marred by a bad no-call.  Let's be honest though, with Brady under center they still might have won even with the call.

Dallas gave that game away.  Two missed chip shots that amounted to four lost points.  Squandered opportunities on offense.  Tampa showed me they're good, but not invincible.  If Buffalo brings their 'A' game, they can beat them.

I won't change your mind but in general refs tend to bite their whistles late in games especially when it comes to pass interference calls.

But for 20+ years most of those calls happen when Brady is playing the game. You can’t tell me that the NFL isn’t fixed for him to some degree. It’s absolutely disgusting

The OPI is debatable but I’m not sure if it was the screen play or the almost pick but there was a clear hold in the middle of the line early in that drive where one of Tampa’s oline threw a Cowboys defender down with a wrestling takedown idk how that was missed

Just add uniforms

Guarantee if the Jets were in the position to beat the Tampa Bay Brady’s and Zach Wilson throws a ball to Corey Davis and Davis Forearm shivers a Tampa CB like that it’s getting called OPI. 100%

100 times out of 100

So I didn't change your mind?

Best thing that can happen is having this crap cost Jerry wins, because his carping actually makes Goodell fidget in his seat.  It amazes me how stupidly-run the NFL continues to be while betting is now legal and an activist Congress is looming.

Teams need to be hitting Br*dy as much as possible so when he is knocked out teams will not get calls.

Yes some players will get penalties but as long as it is not flagrant they will not be thrown out of game.

Brady and his team get every necessary call. But it’s not much different than the NBA and Jordan (and later Shaq) getting every call.

Sports changed IMO with Jordan. Superstars used to get the benefit of the doubt on calls, in pretty much every sport. When Jordan became a superstar, halfway into his career, he no longer got the benefit of the doubt, he pretty much got every call.

That’s what happened with Brady.

Hopefully the nfc east makes a comeback because dallas' offense is practically unstoppable. Dak was doing this last year before he got hurt too

Dak played a good game and I don't want to take anything away from that, but "unstoppable"?

Punt-TD-Punt-Missed FG-TD on a Fumble just outside the redzone - Field Goal off an INT -  Missed FG - FG - Interception - TD - FG -Punt

Is that what you call "unstoppable"?

Looks to me like they settled for FG attempts 5x

Also got 9 points instead of 14 off 2 turnovers

Again, saw some good stuff from Dak this game, but the Dallas offense reminds me of the Bills offense in 2019 where we did good things

Just not enough of them, and settled for 3 points instead of 7 too often.

Forget the OPI on Godwin not called.

Go back to a play on that last drive where the Bucs were near mid field.  I think there was 55 seconds left.

One of the Dallas DT got absolutely mauled exactly like Via was - and considering the refs were all over that, this should have been blatantly obvious.  No call.

And probably no call because I don't know the DTs name, he's going against Brady, and the refs are literally watching the comeback happen.....full on in the tank mode.  It's probably mostly subconscious not so much deliberate - but it's still a problem.  Going on 20 years now.

The Bucs will be the 1 seed and coast to the Super Bowl because their schedule is straight trash and you can't cover all those weapons.  And you absolutely cannot run on them.  Should win 15 games.

It will be a pleasure kicking their a** in the SB

Dak throws for plus 400 and the Cowboys lose.  Brady game winning drive with a blown ref call.  Same as it ever was.

And the Bucs turned it over 4 times.

You need perfectly timed holding calls against Dallas or DPIs to change the game.

And your kicker be terrible.  And to leave a minute and a half after choosing FG was not smart.  I didn't like kicking it at all there.  48 yards when he's having a bad night was perfect time to go for it.

They played it safe and great job you caught your L.  Of course a holding on that drive didn't help.  Obviously.

I think the Bills will beat them in the regular season. They can be more efficient than Dallas was on offense.

If they were allowed to challenge it would've it been overturned?

Absolutely. The ref in the booth called it OPI.

My first morning after reflections of the season:

- what a great opening night game, right? I mean I think we all knew how that was going to end but great entertainment, great atmosphere.

- forget Brady (well, not totally forget but you take the point) Tampa's strength is their D line. They were all over Dallas all night and they wreck games.

- Gronk, Fournette and Antonio Brown never really felt integrated parts of the offense in Tampa last year. They felt like bolt ons. With a full offseason though they all look like important players for them.

- Zeke is absolutely gone. Done. Finished. There is just no pop in his legs at all. That pitch by the goalline it only needed a 2 step burst and he scored and it looked like he was wading in treacle.

- remember when people thought the Cowboys shouldn't pay Dak and that you could get similar production out of Andy Dalton? Yea, good times. Dak is the best player on that team. If anything they are too reliant on him.

- think both of those teams will be playoff teams when all is said and done.

The Cowboys with Dak have always been able to put up yards and points. Their problem is defense and closing out games.

I think they are the same team that has been underperforming for years. But, they probably will make the playoffs because the NFC is weak.

Regarding Zeke, yeah it does seem like he's lost some "pop". I can't help but feel they abandoned the run too early, though. They came back to it in the 3rd quarter and Zeke ripped off a 13 yarder and I was like "keep doing that; keep Brady off the field." I gotta watch the replay tomorrow, though.

I think Wash or Eagles (?!?!) win the division.

I think Eagles will be the worst team in football. Washington or Dallas.

Even that 13 yarder... it was just a contain loss by the defense. Zeke turned the corner like a grandma going out to buy milk.

Indeed. And they could barely move the ball last season without him.

i guess that OPI should have been technically been called, but football is much better when the refs are not involved. majority of penalties should be called pre-snap, after the play is over (for any unsportsman like crap), or if something is obviously, i mean obviously blatant, like the missed Robey PI against the saints.

let the players play, and im ok with letting the players play there as well as most of the times.
