Season-long survivor pool thread

I am not in this pool. I totally whiffed. But in my other one, I went Pitt>Cinci. Week 3 and I am out. Effin-A. I am still a little salty about that one.

If you click on the "Two bills drive survivor" in blue it shows you everyone. We currently are at 72 remaining out the initial 100. Half of those out are because they simply didn't make a pick.

 

Switching my pick to KC this week. I figure it is worth losing this if it means KC loses to the Eagles.

So I took Cincy with 10 of my 20 picks.  Was getting ready to lose them all until the 4th quarter happened.  Although it would have also knocked out 20% of the remaining picks.

Can someone remind me.  Which team can't you pick more than once, the winning team or the losing team?

Week 1: Rams over Bears

Week 2: Packers over Lions

Week 3: Denver over Jets

Week 4:  Hoping to avoid the jinx, but I'm taking Bills over Texans

It should prevent picking the same team selection twice.

 

I was going to wait until later this season to pick Buffalo but selected them winning this one too - like I need a reason to root any harder lol

Got by week 4 by the skin of my teeth.  The Bengals nearly laid an egg, but pulled it out against the Jags in the closing minutes of play.  In the end, I got what I wanted.  I got to use what is most likely a third tier team and I survived, thus saving a top tier team for a bit later in the season.

No offense to you personally, but I was pulling for the Jags to win knowing that close to half the people in the pool would have been eliminated.

 

I’m going with the Titans this week.

A little under 25% in the pool picked the Bengals, but I hear ya.

You’re right....I was over-exaggerating.....in fact, more people are picking the Bills and Titans...but 25% is still a lot of people.

I'm out.  Also lost 5 of my 20 picks taking Titans and Saints.  But that knocked out 2,874 picks.  I should have stuck with my original plan of taking 10 Bengals and 10 Bills, but I wanted to save the Bills for later.  Dumb.
