Mango Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I am not in this pool. I totally whiffed. But in my other one, I went Pitt>Cinci. Week 3 and I am out. Effin-A. I am still a little salty about that one. Quote

If you click on the "Two bills drive survivor" in blue it shows you everyone. We currently are at 72 remaining out the initial 100. Half of those out are because they simply didn't make a pick. Switching my pick to KC this week. I figure it is worth losing this if it means KC loses to the Eagles. Quote
Gen2 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 week 1 Carolina over Jets week 2 Denver over Jacksonville week 3 Baltimore over Detroit week 4 Cincinnati over Jacksonville Quote
Doc Posted September 29, 2021 Author Posted September 29, 2021 Maybe I should consider using Cincy over one of the better teams? Quote
Doc Posted October 1, 2021 Author Posted October 1, 2021 So I took Cincy with 10 of my 20 picks. Was getting ready to lose them all until the 4th quarter happened. Although it would have also knocked out 20% of the remaining picks. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Can someone remind me. Which team can't you pick more than once, the winning team or the losing team? Week 1: Rams over Bears Week 2: Packers over Lions Week 3: Denver over Jets Week 4: Hoping to avoid the jinx, but I'm taking Bills over Texans 1 Quote

I was going to wait until later this season to pick Buffalo but selected them winning this one too - like I need a reason to root any harder lol Quote

I can save a supposedly dominant team for a later week. Got by week 4 by the skin of my teeth. The Bengals nearly laid an egg, but pulled it out against the Jags in the closing minutes of play. In the end, I got what I wanted. I got to use what is most likely a third tier team and I survived, thus saving a top tier team for a bit later in the season. No offense to you personally, but I was pulling for the Jags to win knowing that close to half the people in the pool would have been eliminated. I’m going with the Titans this week. Quote

BigAl2526 Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I still get to use the Bills in a future week. I may avoid the KC game though. Quote

Reader Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 Looks like a lot of people are going to be out after this week. Quote
Doc Posted October 3, 2021 Author Posted October 3, 2021 I'm out. Also lost 5 of my 20 picks taking Titans and Saints. But that knocked out 2,874 picks. I should have stuck with my original plan of taking 10 Bengals and 10 Bills, but I wanted to save the Bills for later. Dumb. Quote
