Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Kinda stinks. I figured the Bills might try to sign him after week 1 for some veteran CB depth. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/09/05/49ers-add-josh-norman/ 1
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I think the Bills have had an epiphany that they really need to keep some young guys on the roster and develop them. 4 5 1
Steptide Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Good for him. Good depth, but really only made that one play for the bills against the raiders 2

Saxum Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Maybe Bills will sign him after he is cut post week 2. I did not think he was worth signing with any contract other than a veteran minimum which has reduced cap considerations. He knew the Bills and if he wanted to be in training camp with knowledge he would have not been on roster week 1 he could have agent talk to Bills.
PetermansRedemption Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 (edited) I hope they don’t play Tennessee this season. Henry is not kind to that man. Edited September 5, 2021 by PetermansRedemption 2

Bookie Man Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Probably trying to get as far away from Henry as possible.

They play December 23rd and Josh Norman will get an early xmas present from The Prince. A good night night sleep for two days. JDubya76 Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Derrick Henry Is going to straight arm him into retirement for xmas
TheyCallMeAndy Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Guys like Norman and Sherman are just names at this point, you realistically can get the same production from unproven CB depth. 1
JohnNord Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I love what Josh Norman did for Buffalo last year but at this point, he’s not a very good player.

We’re going to hold you to that proclamation. 🧐🏈🤪🏋️♀️👌🙏 Seriously, I wish Norman the best as he seems to be a good teammate last year. If we need veteran help due to injury, don’t flame me, but the guy who would not take much given his minor legal things is Sherman. Not crazy about some of his takes in the past, but he fits perfect in this scheme, and would be fine at depth if Levy went down. With the community stuff Norman did in Buffalo last year, I hope he makes it in SF if not just for depth. Edited September 6, 2021 by machine gun kelly 1

That was a misdemeanor incident, not felony and never laid hands on the family. He’ll be fine. My guess is he went to rehab or mental health assistance, and the judge slaps him with a fine and probation.
davefan66 Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Played ok for the Bills last year. Our young guys deserve to play and learn. Norman would have been a must have a few years back, not now. I believe an upgraded pash rush helps the defensive backfield, don’t believe our DB’s are a big problem. 1

If our guys are getting after the QB knocking them around, forcing them to throw passes early, off rhythm, and off balance then it will lead to more plays by both our LB's and DB's. 1
GunnerBill Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I remain worried about the depth at corner. Hopefully in the event they need Dane Jackson he plays better than he did in pre-season.
