Expand Your right! Offense is more exciting to the casual fan thus all the handcuffing of the defense. Hell people were debating if the KC-NO game a few years back was the greatest of all time and the final score was like 51-45. Sigh..

Expand Yeah the refs definitely err on the side of the offense, especially when it comes to protecting the QBs. Literally of a defender tackles him and lands on him with his body it's a penalty...how can you teach a guy to tackle like that?? There was a player within the last few years who literally tore his ACL trying to make sure his body didn't land on the QB when he walked him...that's not right. 1

They literally made a rule because of him going out for the season. I know he didn't make the rule but the nfl had to protect its cash cow. Edited September 3, 2021 by The Wiz
