DrDawkinstein Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 That's a bummer. He was a HUGE step up from Rodak, and actually provided insight and information. 27 30 2
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I will miss him, his reporting was solid 4 1 1
Warcodered Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 That does suck he did a great job and really engaged with fans on twitter. Wonder who we'll get? 3

MLJ did a solid job and I think was starting to 'buy into the team' and provide some decent reporting 1
GoBills808 Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I enjoyed the way he reported on the team best of luck to him going forward 2 3
GunnerBill Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Yea was a huge upgrade on Rodak. I think in the zoom only pressers of 2020 he was regularly the guy that stood out with the thoughtful question. Unfortunately at ESPN you don't get the chance to develop your ideas in your writing in a lot of depth so I hope if he is staying in the business he is going somewhere where they will allow him a better platform to do that. 2 2
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I liked him. Hopefully we get someone equally as good and bonus if it isn't a Pats fan. 1
WMDman Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Damn he was actually pretty insightful and had a good personality good luck MLJ!!! 2 1
billsfanmiamioh Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Too bad, definitely liked him and his writing. 1
Ned Flanders Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 (edited) Damn shame. A solid reporter as others have noted, and he was always giving props to WNY, espeacially the food scene. Edited August 30, 2021 by Ned Flanders 1
mushypeaches Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 This definitely gets filed under the "who cares" column. It's been 15-20 years since anyone relied on ESPN for any insightful commentary 1 4
First Round Bust Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 a good, positive, dude. beyond the football jock talk which he did well, he embraced the 716, it was mutually beneficial and he will be missed, hard for someone to come in just before the opener and hit the ground running....best to marcel and thanks for feeding us barnyard animals and being one of us... 2
