What position Groups do you think the Bills are looking to add in from Cuts.

I think the following is areas they would be looking at.

Punter - I think Haack is replacable, watch what happened in LA if Bojo wins that I would want Bills all over Hekker

RT - I think the will be looking at some Rotational OT as well if one shakes free a nice Swing OT

CB - I think this is the area of the weakest depth on the team.

CB

TE

depth OT.

Think they are committed to Haack and while yes I'd want Hekker I have zero interest in bringing Bojo back.

I think the other two are definitely it.... a vet OT who is better than Bobby Hart at least for the PS because Tommy Doyle is way away from being "ready" and a vet outside corner not to compete with Levi - you ain't finding that guy now - but to compete with Dane for the backup job.

LB Andre Smith has made the #Bills’ initial 53-man roster, according to a league source.

We play too many rookie QBs to not have our welcoming committee on the team.

I dont either, Haack Holding is what IMO put him on the team over Bojo, and I dont think Hekker has any holding problems and is a better Punter than Haack so that would be the immediate upgrade and would be all in on it.

Andre Smith is top of my list of guys who I had on the outside looking in going to camp. He has earned that spot in every way.

Yeah I'm happy for him. I though he looked pretty good. You're right, he definitely earned it for sure

He flashed a lot of solid traits including big hits, reaction time, quickness/explosion a couple times. One of those guys around the ball. Really tough to translate preseason to regular season for a guy like that but he has some game and as you said, he’s really earned it. Methinks McD probably loves him.

Why isn't depth at safety discussed more?  That is the position group that I feel has the worst depth.  We have two solid veterans.  I don't know how good Hamlin is but he is alate round rookie.  I'd like to see them add a more experienced third safety.  Maybe Neal plays some safety in a pinch?

Sometimes you have to trust your drafting and the bills are doing that here.....Hamlin is going to end up being a very good player

And they have a ton of confidence in Jaquan Johnson. I think we'd all feel a bit better about the depth had he been able to get on the field the past couple of weeks.

And Neal can clearly play there if there is a rash of injuries in a short time period.

I think the Depth at Safety is great.

Neal will play the Marlow Role

Johnson looked good.

And there was a Hell of a battle with Hamlin and Thomas for that 4th S role.

But he is a lot better at that than the other options. It's like saying Tyler Bass offers nothing other than special teams.

Comparing the importance of gunner vs kicker is obviously not a great comparison.   Kickoffs/FGs/EPs vs one of 11 on coverage for maybe 3-4 plays (returnable kicks) a game - and realistically the gunner isn't even involved in the tackle for all of those.

There isn't much starting experience there but there is some talent for sure.

I think Jaquon is first up, if Poyer or Hyde go down.

I think Neal is theprimary nickle backup, and he/Marlowe did get some short run while Taron struggled last year.  Agree Neal gives us versatility and ST play is fantastic
