ColoradoBills Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Reid Ferguson doing the vet/re-sign move is a bit strange. He just signed a 3 year contract extension with 650k in signing bonus. I want to see how much he got paid for this move on his new contract. He definitely flew under my radar as a guy who would do this. Good for him being a team guy!

As long as both sides agree this is certain to happen, and his money is now guaranteed, it’s no real sacrifice. It’s better for player. 1

A second year player who was an UDFA (and not even a priority one, he signed with the Bills a week or so after the draft) is unlikely to get signed to an active 53 man roster based on a couple of promising pre-season games. Now of course he could sign for someone else's practice squad rather than come back here... but I suspect he is on our PS. Agree on Giles Harris. I am very meh on Hodgins.
