Royale with Cheese Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 One of my favorite Bills of all time. I loved his honesty last year when he was benched. "I basically got fired yesterday, and today my day consisted of Zoom meetings with the guy that fired me and sitting in a room with the guy who replaced me for four hours," he said. 2 1
DallasBillsFan1 Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Can I re-name my account "Hair of Ryan Fitzpatrick" Seriously though, that dude is the greatest. 1
Kelly the Dog Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 For the smartest guy in the league he sure makes a load of dumb ass decisions. Love me some Fitzy though. My favorite non Bill. National treasure.
The Avenger Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 That is so much beard he might actually be the first guy to get tackled by his beard if a defender grabs a hold of it...

He was better than everything that came in between but realistically that would have meant 5 more years and I am not sure any team should settle for Fitz level play out of its starting QB for 8 years. I love Fitz. He was the only pre-Josh Bills QB I liked because he played to win the game rather than keep his job but I think 8 years of him starting would have been too many. 2

I wonder how many of those INTs on 4th qtr end-of-game drives would have been TDs and wins if he had Josh's arm? 1

I figured it was implied that his performance would have been needed to be better. I'm more talking about him as a person and member of the team. We had to move on from him with the money we paid him and his performance cap. I really do wish he was the qb to break the playoff drought. Edited August 27, 2021 by Virgil 1

He just has a little too much confidence in himself to execute properly. His guts are admirable. 1 1

He believes he can make a lot of those throws but his arm can’t cash the checks his brain makes. But he seems to be the only one that doesn’t know it or see it. We all do. That’s bad decision making.

Malazan Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Wow, just found out, but Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard and got a 48 on the wonderlic! 1

Interesting thought. Daboll gets HC position in DC Metropolitan Area team and Trubisky goes with him with Fitzpatrick becoming backup to Josh.
Juice_32 Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 I named my female English Bulldog Fitzy about 10 years ago, she passed away this summer. I’ll always love that dude and that dog. 2
uninja Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 He looks like Bob Ross playing a generic bad guy on Miami Vice 🤣
