Not surprised at all.  Sal mentioned the other day getting these guys into a game day routine.  
 

I would expect 1-2 series and get him out. Just enough to go through the entire process of getting up, getting to the game, going through the stretching and walk-through, and coming out with a crowd all amped up.

I thought based on the DC’s comments yesterday about getting some guys in and communicating on a field with a crowd - something they have barely done - this was going to be the plan - get guys out just to get into the routine - which was very different last year.

This is typically week 3 of Preseason where starters play the most. Instead of Week 4 they now get a bye so I expect a lot of teams to play starters.

I heard they're lining Josh up in the slot since all our WRs are on the Covid protocol.  McD had no other choice.

Doubt he plays any more than a couple series. And I'd guess on the 1st if he coasts down field and they get a TD that will be it for him.

I'm fine with the decision. Just please no Josh Allen hero plays. Screens, handoffs, quick passes. No long developing plays. Save it for Pittsburgh.

I have faith the coaches have been and will continue to drill in his head to slide if he does take off.
