True but I don't see any harm in him playing a series or two. You can't worry about him getting hurt. He can get hurt on any given play in the regular season as can anybody.  It sucks but injuries happen to every team.

I was actually left a little confused by what McDermott said, it sounded to me as though he said the starters would play after the half.

 

Did anyone else catch that?

Lol no. Sorry he’s not a rookie there’s nothing to be re-acclimated to. There was no preseason last year and Allen was an MVP candidate.

Expect to see something similar to the Chicago game. Just some real quick slants and stuff to put some work in without any real risk to the franchise player.

It kind of sounded like that but what I think he meant was some starters will only play a little bit and some will play into some of the second half.
