Little went wrong for the Buffalo Bills during their second preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Buffalo’s offense, defense and special teams were firing on all cylinders during the team’s 41-15 win. Some of the brightest stars of the game were members of the team’s rookie class with one specifically getting praised for his play by NFL.com’s draft analyst Chad Reuter.

In his Week 2 rookie grades piece, Reuter gave third round pick Spencer Brown an “A” grade for his performance against Khalil Mack and the Bears. Here is what Reuter said about the offensive tackle.

Saw that article yesterday - definitely nice to see Brown getting some solid reps against some good starters - great early experience for him!  Hopefully we've hit a home run with one of our O-line drafts.  Our D-line guys seem to be getting all the press lately.

If Brown can be our swing OT for the next two year or two and then take the starting RT job then the cheap labour at that position is an absolute home run. Let's hope he can do it.

Any updates on Brown's knee injury? Hadn't heard/seen anything ....

I think we're waiting for a Thursday media check-in from the coaches, but I believe it's in the one week downtime range.

I have a feeling Spencer Brown is gonna be hell of a right tackle. He'll replace Williams by 2023.

Hopefully, Ford can live up to his draft status and give us a massive, mauling right side on the o-line.

Now if Doyle can just follow suit.

On draft night, once they took two tackles, I was kind of thinking to myself: "If all goes well, Brown locks down the RT job within a couple seasons and Doyle becomes the swing tackle". Or, more likely, Beane just saw two big positional needs, tackle and edge rusher, and took two bites at each apple in an effort to increase his chances of getting at least one good player at each spot.

He got it done, but I can't help but notice the awkwardness in his form. Like he's not bending enough with his legs or something. Idk, I'm not an expert, but it just doesn't look pretty, lol.
