It's been said but it's crazy how much people think trades work.  A 4th for Fromm should get the Atlanta GM fired.

1. They're most likely not going to be good this year, and you don't waste draft capital in a year where it won't make a difference.

2. They (and everyone else) know that Fromm is going to get cut.  You offer a 7th if you really feel like he's worth having on your team and don't want to take the risk of someone else picking him up on waivers (but the Falcons were terrible last year so unless the Jets, Jacksonville or Texans want him they'd have dibs anyway.)

Well the Falcons just signed the "Wrong Josh" so I guess this thread is dead

BTW every team has a scrub QB or two and they usually just get released then put on the PS

This thread is not only merely dead; it’s really most sincerely dead. I’m kinda amazed that Rosen keps getting chances. He may end up being like an accelerated version of Fitz — 9 NFL teams in 7 seasons as opposed to Fitz’s 9 in 18 seasons. Rosen is already at 5 in 4 seasons.

With AJ McCarron out for the season, ATL has only two QBs on their roster, and one of them is an undrafted rookie free agent (Felipe Franks). I prefer Webb to Fromm, although honestly it's more like six of one/half dozen of the other. Regardless, they're both fine as third stringers, so the Bills aren't creating any vulnerabilities. Rather than wait until cuts and hope they get lucky, Atlanta could secure via a trade a modestly credible backup in Fromm who also happens to be a hometown hero. And if they do it quickly, they'd at least get some camp under Fromm's belt. My view: if the Falcons offered a 4th rounder (or some combination that's equivalent to that) in the 2022 draft, I'd be all over it.

This is a great idea. Webb has more experience anyway.
