The block was Carlos "Boogie" Basham.  I selected "Jungle Boogie" by Kool and the Gang in tribute.

I wonder if the Bills are exploring putting Rousseau in on FG attempts? With his height and arm length, you would think he might block a few. Especially on long FG attempts.

Bills are loaded with talent. Was impressed how much ground Speedy covers on the punt return touchdown, the guy needs a spot on the squad, even if its an injury stash.

Bam Johnson has really come on at DE. Whoever gets cut on the DL is getting signed by someone.

Becker #84 did some nice blocking and made a good grab. Not sure there is room for too many TE's with Gilliam grabbing a spot.

Andre Smith and Ty Adams both looked good as well.

I might go on the record here. Yeah heck I will. I think Hamlin is going to be the 3rd safety replacing Marlow in that role.

another hot take. Our Cut Depth is better than a lot of teams 2s. I could see trades coming for some players we may end up cutting anyway.

Mitchell Trubisky - Bears cut loose their 29-21 QB who took them to the playoffs, thinking they could do better.  Haha.  It must have been sweet to drop a 31-burger on them in the first half.  Sure, it's only preseason, but revenge don't get much sweeter.

Jacob Hollister - Caught everything thrown his way (unlike Dropsome Knox), culminating in a beautiful seam route and catch.  I'd name him TE1 right now, if only to light a fire under Dropsome.

Issac McKittrick - Made up for the muffed punt with a ton of catches on offense, and a great PR later.  Kept the sticks moving on the TD drives.

Marquez Stevenson - Made up for a really bad room service drop with a massive PR for a TD.  Raises the question if the Bills will keep 7 WR, and two PR/KR specialists.

Greg Rousseau - An absolute beast, and the steal of the first round.  This is what we thought we were getting when we "stole" Shaq Lawson.

Mike Justin Zimmer - Forced another TO, and generally wreaked havoc in the center of the line.  Hope the elbow is OK.

Andre Smith - All over the field again this week, and just a massive clean hit on Fields that sent his unbuttoned chin strap helmet flying.  I'll forgive the RTP penalty, it was a huge hit!

Rachad Wildgoose - As bad as he was last week, he was great this week, with big hits, PD's, and a near TO that was at least reviewable.

WHO YA GOT?

Either the Bills keep an extra WR, or they trade Stevenson, but no way he'll ever make it to the PS based on last weeks catch and this weeks PR for a TD.  Has Hodgins come back yet from his injury?

Zimmer did return to the game, my guess was a stinger.

I don’t know about game ball worthy, but: Josh Thomas- he has flashed several times these last two games. As has Hamlin. I had no idea we had this level of safety depth.

Trubisky of course and Gilliam get game balls.

And AJ Epenesa gets the “ohh s&*%!” award for planting that LT on his backside.

Glad we have Mitch!! What are the next cuts going to be?

Down to 81 is what Sal said by Tuesday.  I know you asked what, not when, but I assumed someone else would ask.  McD announced his a little early last week, I believe trying to give these guys a chance to latch on with another team.  Next week after the Packs is the one I’m interested as last week and this week, some may not even recognize their names.

Next week is the time to find out how the battles truly went in practices.

No surprise for me from what has already been written as game balls.  The only one of note is I hate getting too amped up about okay in a preseason game, but for at least this year, and I hope another and pay him more next year is we finally have our Reich in Mitch.  He looked incredible and so natural in our scheme.  Oh, and no I don’t want to hear about trade opportunities.  This guy is going to be great insurance for Allen and us.

He may not have the same quality play as Allen, but he okays just like him and will in my eyes god forbid Allen bags up a shoulder or elbow could give us 3-1 in the middle of the season depending upon the opponents.  I appreciated Barkley, but it was night and day how Allen and him play.

Mitch, enjoy the year, comradere, the wings and pizza, feel what it’s like to be on a functional, consistent winning model of a team.  You certainly deserve it after purgatory in Chicago.

After watching Stevenson today again, I’m getting more and more inclined to want 7 wr’s, but that means only Hollister #1, Knox, and Gilliam (I know he’s a FB).  You could potentially hide Sweeney a little easier on the PS as he didn’t even play last year.  Just floating it.

Knox drops a few more, he'll be a TC cut.

Adam Davis. That hit he put on Fields was awesome. I’ll forgive him for the penalty on that one. Roughing the passer. But whatever. Loved the hit.

Daboll for low key conducting an "interview" for the Bears HC job in 2022.

Im scanning through the thread again, and just caught you’re comment.  I started laughing as I was thinking the same thing.  GB the other day made some references to where Daboll could land next year and this would be a perfect place.  They have (not today but overall) a solid defense, they still have the Beast called Mack (no offense to our TBD Beast oh great one), and what would be laughable is him developing Fields into a very good QB, literally copying the McD philosophy of how he built this team.  After a year Fields will have improved in all the rookie mistakes, and be ready for a creative guy like Daboll.

Down the road in a good system with continuity, a line and weapons, Fields will probably develop into a good NFL QB, and he won’t Duke  it out with Rodgers as you know he’s gone (my over/under is the Steelers, not the Broncos).

Can almost guarantee the Pats pick him up if he's cut.

Good, let him drop Cam’s balls.  I stuck up for him his first two years, but I’m growing tired of critical drops even if in a PS game, when Hollister looked solid.

Hollister and Kumerow came in with that's 80s glam rock hair and Rocked us like a Hurricane and secured roster spots.

McKenzie proved he's so much more than a gadget player.

D line looks much improved as it continues to get consistent pressure on the QB. So pumped for this group.

Daboll continues to draw up exquisite pass patterns that seem almost indefensible. Also the screen game looks to be more prevalent this year. Look for the running game to take a big step forward.

So can we nickname them the Scorpions?  Too Early?

Or I can just see them with their beats on listening to this prior to the game while Allen is listening to Elvis.

Let Allen watch this video pre game and he’ll have an aneurism he’ll be so amped up.  Barbarian knows as that was my pre-powerlifting meet music when I started in college.  A good sniff of Primatine mist, and you can deadlift the world!

Curious about his trade value.

I think a bag of Tim Horton’s will do it.

for him getting the hand in the air, it had to be Silver Convention’s “Get Up And Boogie”
