Langi looked good against the Bills when he was a Jet. Looks kind of like Tremaine out there except for he makes plays :D (ducks)

Eagles look like trash, but Patriots look to be in mid-season form.  I don’t think they’ll win more than 8-9 games, but Belichik has these guys dialed in.  He clearly doesn’t want to miss the playoffs again.

Got to snicker about people basing Mac Jones in the regular season on pre season games

Defenses are SOOOO vanilla right now

Once Mac starts getting game planned for then lets see

True, but all we have to go on are preseason games.. I think the Pats are probably a top WR and perhaps CB (if Gilmore doesn’t sign) from being a contender.

Howie has to know this team is going nowhere. Time to trade Ertz to a real offense.

He won’t trade him now but when a team is desperate and need a TE they will before the deadline for at least a 1st if not more.

He went against the Eagles 1s in practice all week n did just the same. He is going to be fine. BB knows how to pace him as a rookie.

Mac Jones will be the starter by week 3  and, I hate to say it, he will be better than most of us expect.  He has the intelligence, discipline and just enough arm to run the kind of offense they want to run this year.  But the Cheatriots are not built to get into a shoot out with anyone so their D better be exceptional.

He hasn't faced regular season defenses that actually disguise coverages and game plan.

Peterman always looked awesome in the preseason as well. Then he didn't look awesome in the regular season.

He might be good, but people are reading into preseason games too much.

No rookie has, and every rookie before this class had to do it too. It's kind of the obvious that everyone knows especially their coaching staffs.

He has looked great in practice to and has actually out performed Newton. I wish people stop comparing a 5th round bust to a kid who went 15th overall and lead a team to a national title.  Will he be great or good? No one knows but he looks damn good right now. Will he mess up? Of course! All rookies do!

Jj Taylor looked impressive.  If Pats keep White, Michel, Harris and Stephenson at RB, might be a good option for us to consider.  Taylor would offer a backup return man role and a different type of back for our offense.

Already debate about whether to keep Taiwan, I just don't like that he doesn't offer much at his true position (rb).
