At what point did Bobby Hart factor into the 'tackle depth' that was going to be on the roster at the start of the season?

I believe that Ryan Bates is first option to backup tackle.

Isn't the penalty for lowering your helmet to intentionally initiate contact? The helmet contact looked completely incidental. I understand why the penalty is necessary but damn, there are going to be so many flags flying this year.

It lowered and initiated contact and the officials have had thar very point stressed to them this week by the NFL. I agree it was a brush of helmets rather than an aggressive collision of helmets but the league has said zero tolerance and that is the result.

Hard to believe people complaining about a clean hit. Crazy times .

what was a clean hit 15 years ago is not considered a clean hit today. I don’t agree with it either but thems the rules. Hearing the same chorus of complaints here after every penalty from the same people who don’t bother to know or read the current rules is infinitely more annoying than the NFL’s stance on some of these hits.

I don't think I've ever saw the refs be this terrible. Hopefully it changes in regular season but it seems they set a new bar for  incompetence every year

Again - the first preseason game is always like this - they purposely call

it tight and ease up by the time the season starts.

I had him down as backup C/ G and Brown as the backup tackle.
