IgotBILLStopay Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) was beginning to worry that we may actually be seriously considering moving on from Hughes. Still possible but this is a good sign. Edited August 10, 2021 by IgotBILLStopay 1
Dablitzkrieg Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Nice, hopefully Dion can get practicing soon 1
Warcodered Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Probably still taking things slow today I'd guess.
machine gun kelly Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Not worried. Dions hurt and Hughes is 148 years old. Just kidding. So they are taking it slowly with these guys. Works for me. We need them both.

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Like "Wonder Twins Power: ACTIVATE!"? 🤔
Patrick Duffy Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Good, with Espensa appearing to emerge and Obada along with a couple others I feel like pass rush and Dline in general will hopefully be a lot better.
Ethan in Cleveland Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 He was the best pass rusher on the team with little camp and no preseason last year. The less he does now the better they are in the long run. I'd be stunned if he dresses for any of the preseason games. More reps for the kids. I'm liking the DL more with each report but will hold my breath until we see them on the field. A capable H. Phillips and at least one emerging star from the group of DE's would let Frazier just rush four more often and let Edmunds, Milano, and Poyer drop in coverage more. 1

Speaking of emerging stars, I can’t remember hearing anything about Star. Has he been practicing?

Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 The silver lining with Hughes being on the NFI list is that the rookies were able to get more live reps. We have so much depth at DE now that there just aren't enough snaps to go around.

dwight in philly Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) Hughes is a guy that is needed in more ways than one.. Not only is he still on top of his game , his leadership is paramount . A few years back, he would get those "unsportsmanlike" calls , but its because he plays with heart.. All obvious observations , glad he is back.. Edited August 10, 2021 by dwight in philly 2
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Yup heard, Hughes was activated off the Clovid list!! Well that's what NFL radio reported. Think they may have had a couple of players mixed up on the Bills! 1

machine gun kelly Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 It wasn’t on the Bills camp tour. Jim and Pat mentioned the two being placed on the Covid list, but it was the guys who were put on it, not Hughes. Maybe some other show. That show as an aside was great. It was a little more special as it aired the day of Allen’s contract last Friday. Im not disagreeing with the earlier post, but that means it was one of the morning shows. They’ve had a lot of backup hosts do g the morning shows as their A teams are doing all the camps.
