While I have not attended, I'd just like to add that there have been some good reports about him. I certainly believe what you're saying, however I'd like to think there is some truth to some of those good reports.

That said he is a rookie coming off sitting out last year so one would kinda expect him need some work. I certainly didn't expect him to come out blazing of course. I do feel encouraged about him from what little I have seen.

Oh for sure! I'd love nothing more than to see him fair well this Friday and write last Saturday off to a learning experience and an off day.

Thing is he will have many learning experiences just being a rookie alone, which is expected. Just saying that as for me anyway, I feel no more or less confidence in him just because of a tough day. If reports are true, he has had much more good days than bad.

Hamstring for Moss

That sucks

It sure does, but Singletary had a similar issue his first season iirc, and he’s been able to get past it, Moss will be back and do just fine,

Agree.  the worst thing is to rush a hammy strain/pull.  depending on severity, let it rest for next few weeks and get ready for week 1.

From what I saw this past Saturday, Rousseau DOES look like the project you had initially thought he was. He's got work to do and a little bulk to add. I feel like he'll be able to hit the ground running next season but he'll only be involved in spot duty this season. Very talented player with a great wing span but he got owned by backup level tackles on Saturday. Boogie looked to be getting consistent push in his reps while in there but of course he is a completely different kind of player.

Strange.

This seems to run contrary to every report we've heard from every different Bills reporter who has witnessed camp live every day, as well as praise that coach McDermott gave Rousseau on GMFB today.

I'm not discounting your report. I wasn't there, so I have no idea. I'm just saying it seems to be the opposite of what most people covering Bills camp are saying.

FWIW, both things may be true;

It may be true that Rousseau has had some good plays in practice

but

I actually couldn't find anyone praising him for his performance on SATURDAY

so perhaps on that day, he wasn't looking as good.

It's also possible that the press is talking up the good plays and disregarding the pancakes.

I really want Antonio Williams to get first team reps in the preseason

He will get a lot of reps but they need more than just him, brieda and singletary. I doubt they want to bother giving Taiwan jones a ton of reps in the offense.

I agree. Will need another RB getting through camp, also think they keep a 4th RB on the final roster.

The Bills might be signing a RB soon to get through PS, since now moss and Wade are both injured.

Is there an official or semi-official injury report?

Somewhere I thought I saw "hamstring" for Moss which is not good - those can linger

So if Trubisky didn't get many offers and he doesn't get many next year would Bills fan want him to sign a top backup contract to stay

in Buffalo?  That's probably around $5M per year.

I’m hoping the only thing he does is hand off in garbage time.

Yep, hamstring.

No details on the extent of injury yet, but unless it is super minor, very likely they will rest him until Week 1.

1. 2-3 weeks of rest and light rehab: takes us to Aug 31st

2. Aug 31st-Sep 7th: ramp up rehab and strength/conditioning

3.  Full go/practice week leading up to week 1

All speculation on my part, hope it's more minor.  Agree with Yolo, will need another RB until Wade or Moss returns

Moss was officially on the injury report with hamstring. Along with Duke Williams.
