You really want to open that can of worms?  What was Trump's highest approval rating?

Idiots.

I covered that genius.  Joey has no fabricated conspiracies dragging his approval ratings down.

I'll give you this -- too much time was wasted and too much money was spent. And the mission changed from "Chasing Osama".

Other than that, you've typed mostly senseless blabber.  And why haggle over facts, right?

One other thing.  We kicked the ***** out of the Taliban.  They fled to their hidey holes in Pakistan, and we weren't chasing them over the border.  Then in 2014 we turned over the reigns to the Afghans and things eventually went to *****.  It took seven years with just a small US force in the country, but the Taliban was gaining land all the time.  Anyone paying attention could have seen this coming.  That's why Biden screwed the withdrawal up so badly.

Now there us a piece of blabber if I ever read one.

You have very selective vision. A homer to use a sports cliché.

You could chase the taliban, you couldn't catch them, and then became afraid of Pakistan!!!. 😅

Pakistan was an excuse the generals and contractors and military industry used to keep the money flowing. Military socialism at the expense of front line soldiers lives. The taliban never left, the generals likely made a deal. If they were in Pakistan, it only took a day for all of them to come back. Seriously flawed premise snafu.

You never turned over the reigns to anyone in reality. If you did, 7 yrs later they still were not capable. Again the rich contractors and generals.  If you believe that there is lots of swamp in Fla. for you to buy.

Keep your chin up snafu...

Exactly...if anything, the media actually covers for him...

If they treated Biden like they treated Trump, Biden’s approval might be in the 30s...

I can’t think of anything he’s done well so far...He’s actually lucky he has Kamala as his VP- it actually makes him look half competent...😂🍻

He's the only one who's lucky.  I bet she regrets attaching herself to this shitshow of an admin, knowing she'll never be President.

Yup, imagine if the MSM covered for Trump the way they do (or did) Joey.  Or if they went after Joey like they did Trump.

What else can they do?  Admit their leader, who they've been fluffing as having the most votes in history, is a failure?

Pretty sure everybody from either side of the aisle knew the US had to leave in the near future.

But the absolutely stunningly bad way that the US left could only have been anticipated by 46's absolute harshest critics.  He found a way to repeat the evacuation of Saigon.

Good luck getting any foreign nationals to ever give us support in the future in foreign theaters.

I’m reading a book on WWII and they talk about Operational vs Tactical.  Operational is the overall game plan and Tactical is the small maneuvers or battles.  This was bad on the operational side.  Horrific on the tactical side.

How the hell can the Secretary of Defense now say we can't guarantee that we can get Americans to the airport to get evacuated?  Or the Afghans who have helped us for the last 20 years?

Put 100,000 troops or more in right now.  Make it clear to the Taliban that they are there to evacuate people who need to be evacuated, and if the Taliban interfere in any way then we bring in many more and change the mission to destroying the Taliban.  The mission 4 administrations failed to pursue.

That would cause a bloodbath of Americans and Afghans who have to leave. The only option is to bargain with the Taliban to stop checkpoints , let us return to Bagram air base and other airports to evacuate.  Let US man gates to Kabul airport and the others. I gave up on Biden after this disaster.

It's worse than the fall of Saigon.  It's the fall of Saigon on steroids.  It's the fall of Saigon 2.0.  It's...

Then you stand up and be America.  You tell the Taliban that US forces will be there to execute a peaceful extraction of those people, and if the Taliban take any aggressive action against such you wipe them out.

I cannot believe the weakness of this administration over this.  I cannot believe the weakness of the 3 prior administrations over this.  I cannot believe the weakness of so many on this board who just want to complain about this, who like to preach their false patriotism about America First and all that, but when push comes to shove think that America should cower in the face of its enemies.

Yes, I know I'll be criticized for wanting to put soldiers lives on the line, but we have Americans on the ground in harm's way right now.  Once we get them out, then we are going to have an evil force in Afghanistan who will commit genocide and start allowing terrorists to plot to destroy our country.  We have the best fighting force that has ever been assembled in the world.  When I talk to folks in the military, they want to be given a defined mission, they want to be given the materials necessary to complete the mission, and then want to know they have the support of the people of their country.  They have a job to do.  Let them do it, support them.  Quit waving faux patriotic issues around like kneeling before an anthem and all that crap and get behind our fighting men and women.

If we stand by and allow Americans to be held now by the Taliban because we say we don't have the capacity to get them out, or allow our allies that have stood with us in that country to be slaughtered, then let's just admit America does not exist anymore.  Because it won't.
