DJB Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Don't worry the secret Patriots files were handed over to the new guy to carry on the tradition. 2 5
Utah John Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Perry Fewell? The guy who was the Bills HC for a while? Maybe this is a good thing, having a senior official with a coaching background involved in overseeing the officials on the field. 1

BigAl2526 Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Al Riveron gone? Oh no! Now it's going to be in the hands of a couple of blind guys. Oh wait, that should be an upgrade. 3 1 6
JaBu Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 So glad to see Riverton GONE! Â It's the best news I've heard this week! 1 1
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Well, that ought to ease the shortage of Tums nationwide.  Except, of course, in New England. * I know, I know, hand over a conditional  draft pick.   1 1

CuseBill Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I doubt Perry Fewell will be making the reviews from NY. From the article it seems he has some kind of supervisory role over the officiating. I would think the person taking over Riveron's job would be a former official, not a former coach. I really wish the NFL would just have an extra set of eyes in the booth at each stadium on game day. This crap of having some guy in League headquarters in NY with the authority to change a call is a bunch of crap. Except the folks in New England, no one trusts that set up. 2

Fan in San Diego Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Is he retiring to his sky box at Gillette stadium? 4 1
