Anything you look back on fondly that hasn’t aged well?

As a kid I loved the DARE program in school.  It was cool to me hearing a cop talk about all the dangers in drugs, just say no…..  He was a cool guy from what I recall.   I’ll just leave it as I think the program was a bust overall looking back.

But i still think fondly of it.  Anyone could relate?

I was never a huge fan, but it seemed cool at the time, but Metallica studio tracks haven't aged too well IMO.

I think Creedence and The Doors are relics of their era….also The Cars.

I have third degree burns from this hot take.  Three of my favorite bands.

To answer the question I grew up loving to collect tapes and then eventually DVDs. I have very fond memories of going to Suncoast or Media Play with some extra money. Needless to say those haven’t aged well…

I’m with you on these. I do like Nirvana, but always preferred Alice in Chains when it came to Seattle grunge.

Yeah, Im a Nirvana guy, but it isn't aging particularly well.

Alice In Chains on the other hand is absolutely brilliant and gets better and better.

To build off what the OP posted, Nixon’s “war on drugs” didn’t work out so well, did it?  I’d say we lost that one miserably 😁

Is it officially a loss when you’re still fighting ? 😂

I think we’re just fighting a war against different drugs now.  Weed, cocaine/crack, and psychedelics kicked our ass, so we gave up on those ones.  Now we’re very unsuccessfully fighting against the opiates.  🤔

Much more difficult to fight when doctors are the biggest dealers.

interesting take. i think its bc metallica is really the band who 'started' thrash metal which would made kill em alls production unique. i still like it though
