For the new people, Cindy (#89) is a big Tasker fan and  was in  the Bills Booster Club. She used to post photos from the  banquets.

For the old timers that remember Cindy, she's in rough shape and would like some prayers that she'll pull through.

Prayers for her well being.

I met you, Cindy, AiO, Jay, and many other TBD old timers at St. John Fisher training camp. I first met Jay when I wore a Bills Jersey with "Rockpile" on the back.  I met quite a few people when wearing that shirt! I am mostly a lurker these days.

An update from her sister Mary...

Quote

Please take a minute out of your busy day and pray for my sister Cindy. I have kept her illness quiet for months but today is breaking point. She fell on July 26th and was in Olean General Hospital until September 13th. Then was moved to the Wellsville Manor. In the middle of night she was sent to Jones Memorial Hospital for breathing difficulties. She has been failing in the last few months and think it is time for her to join her husband and the rest of our family in heaven. Please pray to end her suffering. Thank you!!!

An update from Mary this afternoon.

Ok my prayer warriors as of today, Cindy will be considered "hospice."  Yesterday was an extremely draining day.  Linda and I went to see her.  We had a nice visit and even laughed a little.  I had to sleep on my decision being her health care proxy.  There is no quality of life left for her.  Tomorrow is her wedding anniversary and I believe she is going to join her wonderful husband in heaven.  Please pray that her suffering is over and she is definitely going to much happier place.  I hope I do not have to go through this process again for a very long time.  Thank you for all your kind words over the past week.  Love you all.  Pray for my sister!!

This is just so very sad. I hope she is not in pain and ask God to bless her.

Relay this to Mary  if you can:

Just lost my 95 year old mom last week and we had Hospice coming to the house since April. Never regretted referring her. They are angels on earth.  They are there for Cindy AND for you too. There is a whole team of people available- Nurses, Social worker, and chaplin.

They said to call them first when the patient passes at home. They came, declared mom dead, helped us destroy her meds and  even offered to call the funeral home for us.There is even  bereavement counseling available for a year. Their #1 aim is to make the patient comfortable.

This is very sad but no one wants our sweet Cindy to suffer.  Be free, my friend, and I'll see you again someday.  ❤️
