Upcoming from you -  he’s not a real doctor. There’s a Seinfeld episode you might like.

Boy you're a stickler today.  He's not an MD, that studied respiratory illness, liver disease or virology.  Being a libertarian, I'm sure he would give you cancer treatments though, if you wanted them.  Those silly regulations.

You should see about being just a touch more precise with your language. That way you won’t have to backtrack so much.

He's using hindsight on Covid, which is too convenient.  The Spanish flu was the opposite, and worked via a different mechanism.  It attacked the healthy more than the compromised.  If it were Hanta virus, he would have literally been DEAD wrong in hindsight.  The problem with Hep B is that most people, that have it are not aware they have it, and with the treatment protocol, the child can have a better than 90% chance of no transmission.  Also, rates of acute hepatitis B infection have risen 50%-450% in states impacted by the opioid crisis.  At the least, doctors should be informing mothers of these risks.  Rand is neither a doctor nor scientist, so he shouldn't really have an opinion on this.  Same goes for Kash Patel.

There is a lot covered here but it appears you are saying that it is due to lack of knowledge we should have mandated the COVID shot? If I am misreading let me know

No, I'm saying that with the best-known, correct knowledge/data of the novel virus, they should have decided if a mandate was necessary, and Rand Paul is making his claim with the advantage of hindsight.  If they would stop making it political, maybe they could set forth some guidelines going forward, instead of the useless bickering.

Uhhhh, yes he is.  Everyone with an IQ knows it.

Paul attended Baylor University and is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine.

It was true for some people.  Certainly misleading though.  Imo, not as bad as telling everyone it was "going to disappear, like a miracle, by Easter."  That ridiculous idiotic statement was FULLY APPROVED by NC and the cultist.

LOL, you go to a non-practicing ophthalmologist for advice on respiratory and liver viruses?

You really aren't making any point then because there has not been any revolutionary  data that has come out since early 2021. We knew from the summer of 2021 that the vaccine only lasted 3 months or less, if you disagree look at the discussions I had with sundowner at that time.  We knew in March of 2020 it was primarily a killer of the old and those with bad lungs. By the time the mandate came down, in late 2021, all of the large parameter concepts were known, so what extra knowledge have we learned since then?

He WAS a doctor, who did cataract and glaucoma surgeries for a short period a long time ago.  I do think he still considers himself 'the medical board', that he created, though, but doubt he's even deemed himself a doctor of anything relevant to what he was discussing.

You apparently are unaware of how medical colleges work ?

But you still feel free to try (and fail) to denigrate Dr. Paul's long experience.

Look out Billstime, your title is in jeopardy.

For 17 years 1993 till 2010.

Wrong again.

I agree they should have removed the mandates as soon as they had enough evidence to show that the variants were outpacing it.  I'm not sure when that was, though.  Again, he's talking about has the advantage of hindsight.  It kind of boils down with would you err on the side of caution, or take the risk?  At the time you just don't know.  Anyone who claims they did was a liar.

No, I was reading that he did low-cost and pro-bono works, so that's great on him.  Tell me what I'm unaware of about medical colleges?  That was still 15 years ago.

As I stated we knew in March 2020 who was at risk and in mid 2021 that the shots lasted less than 3 months, for you to call me a liar simply for being more intelligent than you is hilarious. Go find my fight with sundowner in 2021 to see my evidence. I will add in the fact that mandates are required when people are too ignorant to do what is definitely best for themselves. We mandate education for children, because they are ignorat, we mandate drivers license because teens are ignorant, we mandate building codes because people are ignorant about architecture and materials. The shot was not what they claimed and to mandate it was bordering on evil and is at best incompetence of monumental level
