I don't get why taking a vaccine that has shown the ability to keep you out of the hospital, in ICU or dead is being fought against so hard. These same people have taken 10-14 vaccines over their lifetime as kids/teens and so have their children or else they wouldn't be allowed to go to school. Now suddenly something that is a much greater risk to them than the other things they have been vaccinated against(I mean, no offense, but Chicken Pox isn't going to kill many people) and they want to go on a hill and die for their right not to be vaccinated?? 

 

By what logic? Or is it even about logic at all or the vaccination but them having "small man" syndrome where by they have the ability to control something in their life and get pleasure out of "winning" so to speak against those that they see as their oppressors? Because honestly, I don't even think it has anything to do with the vaccine at this point...the reason many of these people haven't gotten it is to show they can finally have some control and do what they want.  Not a smart way to exercise it because they likely won't be alive much longer, but hey...to each their own.

How many people have previously taken emergency vaccines with no long term history, or mRNA or viral vector vaccines? 
 

This was certainly my first. I can understand reluctance. I appreciate it as a risk decision for sure.

Prior to 2021, few.  There was an anthrax vaccine under EUA in 2001 that .gov tried mandating DoD, but employees were successful in defeating it.  

 

That case is very likely why DoD hasn't mandated covax yet.  The precedent remains.

Saw this earlier too which means the Pfizer vaccine is 60% effective against Delta vs. the P3 trials data which produced a 95% rate against the original strains.  Just to set context that implies 66 million are at risk from Delta of the 165.1 million people the CDC reports as vaccinated.  So 2 of every 5 of us that got the shots do not have complete immunity. 

 

Watch for the recommendation for boosters in the next 10 days.

The same number that have ever taken a vaccine that more man hours were spent on developing. The number of man hours spent on it ease my mind...probably more than all vaccines in the history of mankind combined.

Drives me crazy...my Mom was in medical research for 50+ years and was in several published articles in well known medical journals for her work in breast cancer research in the 80s. I feel like you've moved to a remote cabin in Manitoba (often called the Montana of Canada) and are taking a class in Manifesto composition.   No one in their right mind can riff about viagara, Ben Franklin, lightning and the CCP in a couple short paragraphs nd have it come together like this. 

 

How about this--we respect each other enough to recognize the concerns we have, we acknowledge that there are reasons to be distrustful of the government and it's various mouthpieces, and we continue to offer as much information as possible so that people can make the best choice for their situation.  If that's untenable, have Messrs Biden and Truedough stop circle jerking in the political forum and mandate the vaccines.
