Ahh, and there’s the sneaky devil in the details.. when you’re driving and conversing with passengers in the car with you, they are living/thinking in the same reality as you are. Every one of them is, to one degree or another, aware of the driving realities you’re facing at any given moment. That is absolutely not the case when conversing with someone outside your vehicle. That person is obviously important enough for you to have taken/made the call, and the main consequence of that semi-conscious choice on your part is that you are going to make every attempt to get into their reality. It’s a really slippery slope… Edited July 23, 2021 by Rhode Island Red Clarity 3 1 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Hate to see this—RIP. May his family find peace and the strength to get through the now. 1
BillnutinHouston Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Terrible news. Sounds like he was a great guy on the sideline and within his family. 2
RaoulDuke79 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Damn that sucks. Football aside, this is sad and my condolences go out to those around him, especially his family. RIP. 2
thenorthremembers Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Way too young. Stop using your cell phones while driving. With radio connect for actual calls, and voice to text, there is absolutely no reason to not be hands free.
YoloinOhio Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 (edited) This is just horrible on so many levels. RIP. Edited July 23, 2021 by YoloinOhio 1

It’s a really slippery slope… Agreed thank you. This has been proven by pschy professionals with testing. The human brain workings are testable and pretty consistent once all factors are known and results of tests concludes. The results say what you say. Somehow that phone call becomes more important mentally than convo in car. 1
Frat-Train Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 God, this is just awful. What a tremendous loss.
