Heitz
The Biz DJ'd our companies 10 year anniversary party in 2005. Though he wasn't slated to perform songs we all got hyped enough that he did You Got What I Need - pretty cool moment for sure. RIP Biz. 🙏

Yes, but Biz was at the very front of the “golden age” of hip-hop, roughly 1986-93. One of those influential guys that had some pretty damned good albums out way before he hit the pop charts/mainstream with “Just A Friend”. “Vapors” is a great great cut, and “Nobody Beats The Biz” is also fantastic with its Steve Miller sample. Got to see Biz DJ as an opening act for Beastie Boys on their “Hello Nasty” tour in Barrie, ON. A Tribe Called Quest was supposed to open but got stopped at the border. Very fortunate that Biz got the slot, he threw down a fantastic set and rapped some too. It was amazing. RIP to a very unique talent.
4_kidd_4
Stripped down, a beat, a piano line, and some beat-box. Pretty much the definition of old-school.
