Might Rather Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/07/14/lesean-mccoy-not-retiring-buffalo-bills-an-option/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook I don't see a spot for him on the Bills but I always liked him here. He would be a great leader for our two young backs to learn from in the room. 1
Nester Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 I like him a lot, but that roster spot value… would rather give a young guy a chance to prove himself.
WhoTom Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 I see a pretty steep drop-off over the past few years. Only 25 touches last season. I'm not sure there's enough in the tank to get him to the next gas station. 1 2
4_kidd_4 Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 While we’re at it, what’s Fred Jackson up to these days?? 2 9 1 1

I’d go there before Fred. Seriously, on Shady, it’s over. It’s been over for awhile. We wore him out in 2017, and now it’s time for him to retire. 3
ndirish1978 Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Nice to hear but at this point Breida is more valuable as he has a much better chance of actually contributing on the field. 1 1
frostbitmic Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 He has gotten a Super Bowl ring in his last two stops, could he make it 3 in a row, there should be room on the practice squad for him. Or hire him to be a Running Backs coach with a possibility of signing him as a Running Back if Singletary, Moss and Breida all go down. Plus I've heard of him, what could be better. 1
BornAgainBillsFan Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 We love you, Shady! You'll be a legend in Buffalo for life. But the only way you're getting on that Bills sideline is by standing next to Jim Kelly in civvies, cheering our current boys on. The time has come. 1 1

He needs to retire and have his Philly parties.

machine gun kelly Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 OJ’s out of prison isn’t he? I heard he had both total knees done. Bring him in for a look. Those threads crack me up for let’s bring him in?

I agree with you - time to open the strawberry jam, because he's toast. 1 1
machine gun kelly Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Tom, maybe if you change you’re profile to a young hottie, and a good resume, can get into his party. What a joke that one was when it blew up in his face. I’m happy he helped our team and in 2017, he was part of the end of the drought. Josh needed someone to help him.
DrDawkinstein Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 The only value of bringing him in is as a good luck charm since he has 2 rings in the last 2 years. He is great in the locker room. Wouldnt expect a single yard of production from him. 1
StHustle Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 He averaged 4.6 ypc in his KC season before going to Tampa and only getting 10 carries all year. It's not like it's for certain he couldn't contribute a bit on the field as well bring that superbowl winning swag into the locker room. I would approve this move. With that said. I don't see it happening.
Rico Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Maybe after the Bills win the SB this year, he can retire as a Bill in 2022. 1
TheBrownBear Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 If we didn't already have Breida locked up, I'd consider it. Maybe if there's an injury in the training camp? 1 1

Those threads crack me up for let’s bring him in? Why not kick the tires? One year deal, vet minimum. What have we got to lose?
