devldog131 Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Do we kick the tires? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/delanie-walker-wants-to-sign-with-contender-former-pro-bowler-willing-to-accept-reduced-role/
TheyCallMeAndy Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Looking at his numbers, he was a nobody until he was 29
NoSaint Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 To compete with Sweeney and hollister? Sure. im not racing to do it, but if his ankle checks out he could at least be a good presence for the team in a TE room that has very little talent to be protective of. not my top addition if given choices but wouldn’t be upset if it happened 1
GoBills! Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 4 years ago he was good, now he is a dud and 35. 1

I guess a 1-year league minimum deal with no guarantees would be a no-lose proposition. 1 1
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 He was great when he first came to the Titans, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy in years. Maybe for the vet minimum if Ertz is off the table

LeGOATski Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 The money he's willing to take is not a big deal. Expectations would be low. If he's a good locker room presence, you never know, it could be good for our young TEs. 1

Get out there and make it happen again . Meanwhile I have an herbal tea to brew and neighbors to complain about 🧐. 2
BornAgainBillsFan Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 This is a "prove it" year for Knox, Hollister and Sweeney. Let's stop all the shiny new FA TE nonsense, and let them prove it! (See, @DJB, I didn't use the E word!) 1 1 1 2
Dr.Sack Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 This is Charles Clay 10 years older than when we got him. He’s 35 and no longer able to create separation.
Starr Almighty Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Personally I'd rather Jason Witten or Tony Gonzalez out of the both over Dalanie
Doc Brown Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 I think he's closer to needing a walker than playing in the NFL. He'll be 37 in August which is 73 in football years for TE's. Having said that, I'd at least bring him in for a workout. 3
