Buftex Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 I guess it is all an age thing....but for me nothing beats "Jaws", "Bad News Bears" (original) and "Dazed and Confused". Quote

From a childhood perspective- The Sandlot and Heavyweights From an older kid perspective- Dazed and Confused We watch heavyweights yearly. Such a horribly silly movie we absolutely love. 1 Quote

Rico Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Since no one has mentioned it yet, I will add: Raiders of the Lost Ark Great summer popcorn movie. 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Die Hard With A Vengeance. It's easily my favorite one in the series. In the opening shot there's a business that has a Back To School Sale sign on it. Plus Summer In The City is the opening song. The banter between McClane and Samuel Jackson in that movie is top notch Quote

To me the first Die Hard movie just overtakes all of them. It might be the best action movie of all time to me. Next to Lethal Weapon 2 1 Quote

Star Wars though I wasn't alive when that one came out going to Episode III when it first came out was a lot of fun though. 1 Quote

Some debate if its a Christmas movie or not. For me as far as best action movies go I would say.... The Expendables. All 3 of them were great. The second one with Jean-Claude Van Damme as the bad guy was my favorite. Quote

Exercise those lima beans, it's not just a great volleyball song with a touching narrative, it's also the soundtrack to one of the most defining action movie sequences in history! 1 Quote
